The most wonderful and quaint stay at Nadia's delightful B&B. The location is perfect for walking about and experiencing Trieste. Nadia is perfectly charming and gracious hostess, offering some great suggestions for places to eat, etc. though she apologized numerous times for her English, we had no difficulty communicating. The car park she suggests was also GREAT...and easy distance from... More

Ariamarina is a tiny B&B with only two rooms. Count yourself lucky if your booking is successful, it’s worth the try! The B&B is located in the old town, in walking distance to the Place Unità, the Museo Revoltella, a good number of restaurants and bars and whatever else a tourist might need. The host, Nadia, is the kindest person... More

Warm welcoming hostess to her lovely B&B. Clean comfortable room, superb breakfast served in her courtyard garden. This B&B added an extra dimension to our first visit toTrieste. Do not let the outside appearance put you off, once inside you will find yourself in a different world. The B&B is on the first floor but there is a lift.

I stayed here for a few nights during a little break in Trieste. I wholeheartedly recommend it for its great location in the nicest part of the city, the comfort and cleanliness of the room, the abundant and delicious breakfast and the utterly delightful owner.

I am writing this review to tell you about this nice B&B, especially, the kindness of its owner, Nadia. My transatlantic flight was delayed for 10 hours. As a consequence, I missed my connecting flights to Trieste. I finally got to Trieste about midnight. Nadia, the owner of the B&B Ariamarina waited for me at this late hour. There are... More

My husband and I stayed four days in Nadia's very pleasant rooms, enjoying the easy access to the center of the city (the James Joyce museum is right across the street) while still enjoying being free of the congestion around the Piazza Uniita. We were just a block away from a fine restaurant, a grocery, a coffee shop and a... More

The place has two bedrooms, which give access to a small outdoor terrace and a large living/kitchen area; Nadia, the owner, has a connected apartment, on the other side of that area. Our family had both rooms for four nights. We were glad we had picked this spot. The rooms are very large, comfortable, and well decorated. Nadia's English is... More

Our few days at the Ariamarina exceeded all our expectations. The beautifully furnished, comfortable apartment which has two rooms is in a great location central to all the bars, restaurants and the main piazza. Nadia the owner is friendly and helpful and speaks better English than we do Italian! She provided a lovely spread each morning which set us up... More

This is in the old part of the city, in a recently sympathetically rebuilt terrace. The Ariamarina B&B is on the 1st floor. We had a pleasant, light room facing onto the courtyard. The weather was not quite warm enough to eat outside but Nadia, the landlady, provided us with excellent breakfast indoors, including local specialties. She's a lovely lady... More

We arranged to stay here during a reunion of my partner (who is Italian) and her classmates at Trieste University. Nadia was the perfect hostess, giving generously of her knowledge of local restaurants and other attractions, as well as serving a varied and delicious breakfast in the little patio adjoining our room. Her flat (she now lives elsewhere in the... More

“I confess that we only saw the room we stayed in to any great extent, along with the living room. Our room had a glass door onto the patio that formed the light well in the building; light and pleasant.”

“Quiet and pristine in the heart of the city....a true oasis.”

“Cannella: The larger of the two rooms, studio feel with a long desk/snack bar, sofa, large bed, ensuite bathroom and small food preparation area with a hob, sink and fridge, which we found useful for sandwich preparation. This room is street facing and is very well sound proofed, not that the road is particularly busy anyway apart from the odd Scooter! Cobalto: A twin/double room, also has an ensuite and is well sized, the benefit of this room is that it has a large french window leading out to the terrace garden which is where breakfast is served and can also be used for relaxing. Again, the room is quiet and we slept very well in here. There is also a fridge and a desk/table. Ample wardrobe room in both, with hangers provided. Both are contemporary and tastefully decorated. Air conditioned.”
