This hotel is in a great location in Parma. Very comfortable accommodations. Carlos has been very charming. Also, like the fact that an amazing restaurant, Cocchi, is attached. The food is wonderful! Rooms are energy efficient with plenty of storage. Shower is roomy.

I was not sure which rating to give. One strange thing happened on our 2nd morning at breakfast; my mom and I wanted to sit at a corner table, moved an empty chair there and the lady serving the breakfast started shouting at me very angrily. I think I was not shouted at like that ... ever. What a strange... More

We used Parma as a stopover on the way south after long flight. We had read about the restaurant Cocchi in Food and Wine and having it connected to Hotel Daniel was perfect. It's small but lovely quiet space. Well appointed rooms and terrific shower. The staff was friendly and the owner and family are delightful. Very reasonable price and... More

Easy to find hotel only and only a 20 minute walk into the centre of Parma. Good welcome and room was decent. Parking by the side of the hotel. It was extremely hot when we arrived but managed the walk into town easily. Contrary to other people's views, it is not a long walk. Unfortunately the restaurant attached to the... More

I was there for a business trip, and our partner choose for me the hotel Daniel. It was a very good choice. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. One lovely woman made me the most tasteful cappuccino that I ever drink.

The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the historic centre of town. When you decide to walk to town check the map first because there is nice quite route through a park, which starts close to the hotel, which leads you to the centre. The road in front is very busy day and night so ask for a room... More

We stayed only for one night - the bathroom was nice and modern, the room a tad bit small for a family room. The TV was tiny, the bed a bit hard, the furniture sort of dated. But that said, all in line with the cost, which was quite affordable. The breakfast was nice and definitely enough and the family... More

I'll tell you when we were driving near the hotel I thought to myself "oh my goodness, what have I done?!" - the neighborhood is not that great, there are really no restaurants nearby except for a few pizzarias, it is on a busy street and the outside of the building is not great but when we got into the... We spent the first two nights of our trip here. Just wished the hotel was closer to the city centre. About a fifteen minute walk to the main part of town. Needed the A/C, but was told it wouldn't be working until mid-May. Slept with the window open. The restaurant attached to the hotel, Cocchi, was excellent. Was surprised to... More

What a great little hotel. It is about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the historic district of Parma and a €6 taxi ride from the train station. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights and the only complaint that I have is that the rooms were a touch warm. The beds were great, they offer extra pillows.... More
