The property while advertising 4 stars is in fact not. The property needs to be thoroughly remodeled, including the reception area and rooms. In our short stay the night clerk did not speak English, and other guests had difficulty in obtaining information on things as simple as getting a taxi. We found the bed to be uncomfortable...and the room furnishings...

Booked Il Convento Fiori! As I arrived at hotel I wished I would read reviews it gave me bad vibe. As I entered lobby. Smelly dingy unfriendly. I been traveling Europe with my son. Going spend two nights Genoa. Glad I only booked one night!! They would not release me from reservation so I am forced to spend night Learn...

There are many things wrong with this hotel. WIFI is extremely slow, beds SQUEAK!, bedrooms smell moldy, bathroom had long black strands of hair all over the shower, there was constant banging and noise, the air conditioner was broken, and the service was horrible. They did not speak english and laughed when we were explaining how miserable the room was....

This old converted convent has large spacious rooms and comfy beds. I found it to be very clean, the front desk guy was very friendly and recommended some fantastic places to eat. It's not exactly in the center but only a short walk. I would stay again when coming back to Bologna. The only thing I didn't like, was having...

Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations, but given the amount of money (paid upfront) I felt very let down. This is a VERY overpriced bed and breakfast. Of the three staff, two spoke English and were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, there were building-wide power cuts roughly every two hours and the air conditioning did not work. I was told that an...

Looking at the website photos, we thought it would be a really cool place, therefore phoned and booked 3 nights in the GOLD Junior suite. The following day we arrived and got a shock. We were the only clients, and the hotel was so dirty and smelly (chemical fragrances to cover the smells) that my husband, as soon as checked...

As usual, the hotel photos were nothing like 'reality'. Set in an obscure neighborhood and virtually unmarked, this little hotel was great on the personality side; very helpful staff and a mish mash of new and old. There were more negatives about this hotel than positive however; 1) the room windows were so high you could not let any natural...

Stayed for 3 nights, our first time to Bologna.... First time to Italy! Really can't think of any negative points about the hotel itself. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and comfortable. The wifi was great! Breakfast was tasty, fresh baked pastries, breakfast pizzas, meats cheeses, lots of drink choices. The location was really good in...

We honestly spent no more than 8 hours here, and for 7 of them we were asleep. Unfortunately I can’t offer much in terms of a review other than that the room was very cosy and dark and therefore I had an exquisite sleep. Frankly though the most important thing a hotel can do I help you get to sleep,...

We have just spent four days here, staying in a two level suite with a living area and two bathrooms, i.e. Enormous. It was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Both bathrooms were very good. This is a boutique hotel and so we did not expect the level of service from a full hotel, but the staff were always very helpful...
