This hotel is first-rate! Beautiful! The location is in the historic section of Bologna and is a perfect small hotel. Beautiful room - an Alice in Wonderland with original art work everywhere! Immaculately clean, affordable and quiet.

We stayed 2 nights on business and I found the room to be really comfortable. The products in the room were nice and there were lots of extra things to use. I enjoyed having a walk-in wardrobe and a huge shower, which was unfortunately very dark - I didn't realise the light was broken. The staff were nice, breakfast was...

A lovely boutique hotel right in the centre of Bologna. We were given a themed room, decked out in stars and stripes, with the Presidential Seal on the wardrobe. A bit quirky, but the large pictures of JFK on every wall were a bit unnerving! However, a good, clean and friendly hotel in an excellent location right next to Piazza...

Churches, shops, art, restaurants are all withing walking distance from this centre of city hotel. Driving to the hotel was a mission due to the small roads and road closures, this due to the upgrading of the cities streets and piazzas. The hotel is chic modern and very clean. We had a room on the fourth floor which was very...

Hotel is in a good location if you want to explore Bologna Centre. Make sure you tell them that you need parking if you are driving into town. Not easy to find with the many one way narrow streets; GPS is a real help. Small, nice rooms but pricey for what you get. All about location. If there's a concert...

We stayed for 3 nights mid September in an ordinary, unthemed room. For a future visit we will choose a larger room, however this is not such an issue here as in other hotels as there are several well appointed communal areas to relax, read or have a drink from the bar, also complimentary water and coffee available all day....

I booked the separate apartment in Albergo Al Capelloo Rosso under the last minute deal and was not sure if I get a lot of support from the stuff in arranging transportation, visits, etc. But all my requests - any beyond - were met with the immediate attention that is quite outstanding. We got the car pick-up, fantastic recommendation and...

We stayed at this hotel 4 nights at the end of August/ beginning of September 2015. We walked from the train station to the hotel, and it was an easily feasable 20 minute walk, and it was mostly a straight direction. The hotel is perfectly situated right next to the Piazza Maggiore, where the historic center is, the nice restaurants,...

Great historic hotel just steps away from the main square. Nice italian breakfast. Staff was really helpful and nice. Our room was creepy (classic Movies themed) but otherwise the hotel was great. I would def. stay here again.

The location it is just perfect, although in the middle of the city, very quite and elegant. The rooms are spacious and the decoration are simple but elegant. There is a nice goodnight service, and they give leave chocolate on your bed. The breakfast is amazing (for only 10 euro) and everything is fresh and handmade. I normally dine in...
