It's been already a few years that i come to Bologna almost every week for work. I always choose to sleep at the AlbertaD for it's position in the city but mostly for its chill atmosphere. It feels like home almost. The owner, Alberta, is always nice and helpfull.

I stayed there for one night in January 2016. We could choose the room we preferred and ended up staying in the red room which was very cosy. The landlady was friendly and the breakfast delicious with an home made fresh cake. Great attention to details. The location is superb and the area very pleasant. Laura

What a find tucked away in an old building in the centre of Bologna. former model and handbag designer Albera is the perfect host, making her guests feel perfectly at home with warmth, professionalism and great style. The place is also her home, and you really feel part of the family without losing any privacy. I loved my room, more... More

I spent few nights in Alberta's place. No regret staying! I am happy with my choice and definitely recommend it to others. Alberta is simply Wonderful! Her B&B is super clean, modern and has free wi-fi. She provides a homemade breakfast and also asks for your favorites so she can make them for you. Although my partner and I do not speak Italian we were able to communicate just fine with Alberta...Her daughter also speaks English very well. She made us feel... More

Found this B&B to be agreeable, the son who speaks decent english is welcoming enough and the endearing mama who speaks no english makes you feel welcome. The room we had quite fairly average, it was obvious that it was perhaps some storage cellar or extension in a past life that was converted into a room. It wasn't well ventilated... More

It was one of those too many business trips you don’t want to prepare, because you don’t want to go. So, last minute on the web, I picked a place on the map, hopping for convenient practical uncomplicated economical … and if possible homier than the standard for lonely business travelers. Late at night tired and grumpy I pushed the... More

Stylish ambience. Delicious breakfasts. Gracious hosts. Helpful suggestions for restaurants and day trip[ destinations. Accommodating location (about 10 minutes from Piazza Maggiore, 25 minutes from train station). A return visit that welcomed us again to Bologna.

This Bed & Breakfast is the best b&b I've ever been to. The room was comfortable, had TV, free wi-fi, air conditioning, nice bathroom. Also the breakfast was really tasty, the owner (Alberta) cooks the apple strudel herself, and offers also fruit, tea, coffee, toasts, juices... Even the decoration is warm and cozy.

The Alberta D is 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. The entrance is on a busy road but the rooms are set back by some 10 metres, and as such, nice and quiet. The style is rococo meets handbag museum, Alberta was a bag designer and maker of some repute. In fact the apartment was her workplace before... More
