Location is great, you can walk to Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi etc or take one of the many buses Rooms are small but really nicely furnished, evrything works, but no TVS!(in case you are interested) Breakfast is...

Clean, modern, safe comfortable, slightly spartan rooms, really convenient location, excellent shower. Incredibly helpful staff. Spent an hour at the start with a Rome orientation; helped with tours, restaurants, etc. Extraordinary people. Worth a trip to Rome just to stay here.

We just returned from spending 5 nights at the Daphne Inn Veneto. The B&B went beyond all our expectations. After checking inn, we sat down with Carl who helped us plan our trip in Rome including sightseeing, where to walk, where to shop and most importantly, where to eat! His restaurant recommendations were awesome! We enjoyed Armando's, Del Castellegno, Giaoa...

At the beginning of our Italian vacation we stayed at the Daphne Inn Veneto. It was perfect! The room was very modern, clean, and comfortable. Carl was always on hand to offer advice on just about everything...especially where to eat. Listen to him! We went to all the restaurants and gelaterias that Carl suggested and our stomaches were very happy....

We stayed at the Daphne Inn Veneto for 8 nights and it was awesome. Our room on the 3rd floor had everything we needed. The room was perfect: modern, clean and comfortable. Also, the bathroom was very modern and the shower had excellent water pressure. The décor of the whole place was impressive. The laptop outside our room was great...

Great place to stay with all the amenities you need from a European hotel. A lot of privacy, free internet (SUPER feature as it allowed us to research things much easier halfway through our trip). The staff (especially Sonia) went above and beyond the norm to make recommendations/reservations for dinner and sightseeing opportunies. Our room was very impressive, very modern...

We have returned after a weeks stay at Daphne Veneto. It was everything the reviews said it would be. Fantastic, modern rooms. Good air conditioning and amazingly peaceful for the city location. The service and attention to detail was brilliant. Breakfast was a simple affair, but more than adequate, and the cappacinos as good as any other I tried in...

We had heard rumors about poor A/C in Rome. August was hot but the Daphne was COOL! (We kept the room at 60F.) Very cool in many ways. I don't usually care for B&Bs but this one was different; a lot of privacy, free internet, and as many cappuccinos as you can drink. The staff went above and beyond the...

We were at Daphne Veneto from 9/16 through 9/21 of 2006 and could not have asked for a better place to stay. The B&B is located in a quiet street of off Piazza Barberini near the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. The decor was very pleasant - lots of tile, a large window and dresser, and plenty of space...

We were at Daphne Inn Veneto from 13/9-16/9 in the large room 102 and loved it. Why? The service is, as already mentioned in numerous reviews, enormously personal. Some examples: my wife did not feel well one morning, just a simple message and she was at ease in bed the entire morning. It rained on two occassions. They have umbrellas...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
