My wife and I stayed at this hotel / B&B for 4 nights in September 2015. The hotel is in a wonderful position for exploring Rome on foot... Everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and modern with a lovely ensuite shower room. There was a handy fridge in the room and we had access to Wi-Fi, although...

We stayed at the Daphne because of its location and because of the glowing reviews written on Trip Advisor. Our experience of a 2 night stay was exceptional. Alex and Carlos went above and beyond to help us arrange for a hotel and tour of our next adventure in Pompeii. We highly recommend this wonderful family friendly hotel.

Words cannot express the true beauty of this place. The staff went beyond anything we could imagine and we still keep in touch. Rooms are clean and well kept. Walking distance to so much including the metro. Ask the staff for a tour...they will not disappoint. We went in the rain and it was still a magical experience. Luca, thank...

We arrived at the hotel (after walking past it 3 times, haha, we were looking for a large sign outside of the building) and buzzed in. Ash met at the door and took our bags to our room, and said she would meet us at reception on the 1st floor. Her English was excellent and wanted to make sure we...

Situated a stones throw from the beautiful Via Veneto and Piazzo Barbernini , Daphne Inn's Veneto accommodation is beautiful, clean, cool and quiet! The rooms have a simplistic elegance, comfy beds, good aircon, fast free wifi and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast was included, lovely spread! While here we booked Daphne's Reconnoissance and Discover Rome walking tours. An absolute must! This is...

The Daphne was exactly what we needed for our visit to Rome! If you are expecting a typical hotel stay, however, you will be disappointed. The Daphne is not a typical hotel, thank goodness! It is a bed and breakfast in central Rome, with the hotel rooms scattered among apartments in a building near Piazza Barberini. The rooms are not...

The staff at this hotel could not be more helpful. Even before we arrived, they emailed us with suggested itineraries for our trip to Rome. Carlos was extremely helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location is very convenient for walking to many sites and restaurants..also close to the metro station with a few short stops to the Vatican. The rooms are...

We were only able to stay in Rome for two nights and chose this hotel because of its central location and proximity to the metro. We booked through the website. It was easy and response was fast. We reserved the room with a one-night deposit and were offered a discount if final payment was made in cash. The room was...

Before we arrived in Rome we received e-mails with various offerings for tours and even a pick up service from the Airport. We asked for a car to pick us up when we arrived (There is a fee for this. It is a private service) Our luggage did not make it to Rome with us so we spent 2 hours...

After reading all of the reviews we booked Hotel Daphne for a 4 night stay at the end of April. Granted, the staff was lovely and very accommodating we were quite surprised by our room. It is also very centrally located. The room and bathroom were very small, for two people the room felt tiny. The shower was also laughably...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
