Located quite close to some of the better hotels in Rome, this B&B is tucked away in a quiet location just near Via Veneto and minutes from two Metro stations and the Corso. Rooms are moderate in size - we also had a balcony area which was perfect for breakfast. The bed very firm, the shower doing the job with...

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the large outdoor patio where we had breakfast. Breakfast is basic and served to your room based on your selection. Great location at walking distance to many restaurants and sights. We used their taxi service for airport pickup and the driver was there on time and he promptly got us to...

It was a very nice hotel with a lovely balcony and room. There was just no one to ask questions or to complain to. Then you had to make a call. But on the other hand you had a lot of privacy. The breakfast was served very late. We missed it the last day while we asked to bring it...

the rooms are great, spacious, clean, on the 6th floor of a great building! Just a few minutes away from the Barberini piazza and the metro station and also a few minutes away from the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. The service was very good and the breakfast is huge and tasty! The price is very reasonable for all...

First, you need to know that when Italians say "5th floor" it means 6th floor to Americans. The elevator in the building goes to the "5th floor" so you need to walk up one flight of stairs to find Alex Inn. I am glad I arranged a taxi with Giorgio because, like a lot of these small establishments in Rome,...

I love this hotel! While in a very expensive neighborhood (just off the famed Via Veneto) the price is great and breakfast is included. I found Alex Inn thanks to a travel snafu with my first hotel in March 2010; they had overbooked for my first night so they put me up at Alex Inn for the night. I loved...

Will ditto the previous review by Gaia C. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit a bit spartan. Alexandra was terrific, intervening in a dispute with a taxi driver we were having. The rest of staff were friendly and helpful and most spoke English. Having breakfast on the private patio was very nice and a good start to the day...

Its more like a 5 beedroom apartment where you have a room with bathroom and balcony. A bit noisy between the rooms, but perfect area 7 min from Spanish Stairs. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the private balcony is a good way to start the day.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
