The overall experience was great. I highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a nice B&B. The staff was very nice, hospitable and helpful. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was filling enough(the fresh fruits and yogurts were delicious). The location is within walking distance of the termini station and...

Me and my brother stayed here for 4 nights. very close to termini and colosseum (15 min. walk approximately). the room had a fridge and kettle. for breakfast, there were packed croissant, yoghurt and fruit everyday. wi-fi worked very well. Mrs. Bin was very kind. we had no problems during our stay and were pleased. and it is cheap.

Refrig very handy for any purchases made to supplement breakfast or snacks. Wi-fi included and when it was unavailable, every means taken to bring it back. I really did. Normally when I give a place an "average" review, it's because they're, well, average. The hotels we've picked so far for this tour of Italy, though, have been weirdly excellent and terrible at once. In this case: Excellent: Obviously, we chose it partially because it was crazy cheap for Rome. That was not a scam - our...

I booked in to this B&B for a night and arrived late due to my flight being delayed for more than 2 hours. The Italian owner insisted that I pay a late fee for arriving after 11pm. I explained quite reasonably that it had been out of my control and queried whether it was fair to charge this fee. He...

Bin Chen is the owner who wi meet you and show you to your room. There is an elevator to take you to her floor. The district is multiracial in Rome, but next to metro to get you where you need to go. We doors of evening walks, and at night it looks like a different place than what you...

I was traveling solo in Rome last week and Le Rose di Bi was the perfect place for me. I was initially nervous about safety from what I had read about staying too close to the train station, but I happy to say that I felt completely at ease here. It was an easy walk from the train station and...

I have stayed at Le Rose di Bi for 6 nights. The place is great and clean, price is more than reasonable and Bi's attention is more than great. She did everything to help me during my stay, provided me with a laptop (which is at the corridor next to the kitchen) and helped me printing my boarding pass. Gave...

The location was great and the price very reasonable. The breakfast is just pre-wrapped pastries and tea and instant coffee, most mornings we went out to breakfast. The owner was extremely nice and helpful when we checked in, but was rather rude when she came to collect the money for the room. Not sure if there was a problem or...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
