Hotel Romanico Palace is a great hotel located within walking distance to almost all of the historical land marks, Roman ruins, restaurants, shopping and the subway. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and safe. There is a breakfast room on the 7th floor that has a beautiful view of the city. The staff members there are fabulous! I have never...

First night of our tour was spent at this hotel and it's quite pleasant. The room was a bit small but had a king sized bed and served our purpose well. The breakfast was good and was served on the top floor with a nice view of Rome. Front Desk was helpful several times and always with good humor. I...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights when we first got to Rome and it was perfect for a short stay in a mellow part of the city center while we were on our way to other destinations in Italy. We would stay here again, and the best part was by far our concierge, Giulio. If we had...

We stayed here for two nights in early Sept prior to embarking on a cruise. We were very pleased with this hotel from the moment we arrived. Just returned from our 3 night stay in Rome. The hotel lobby and rooms are decorated beautifully and the staff are extremely helpful. The rooms were beautiful but the staff was even better. I have never had more patient, helpful or efficient concierges in all my travels. Niaomi and Giulio helped make my three days in Rome full of memories instead of feeling overwhelmed. And Luca knew the BEST places to eat- ones where tourists were not the mainstay.

Great location, rooms are decorated old roman style. Ok breakfast spread of cold dishes, pay extra for eggs. The wifi is spotty in the bedroom. Generally good service from staff. Comfortable bed and good shower pressure. Lots of tour groups go for this hotel - if you want something more quaint then not a place for you.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
