Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to
Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Hi although the Airport is a 45 minute ride from the airport, It is far cheaper to take the designated Taxi's that are right outside the airport doors, It only costs 35 Euro's and they are government run taxi's and display the tariff on the outside of the tax's doors. Don't be persuaded by private hire taxi's they will cost you between 80 and 100 Euro's. The Hotel Romantico will charge you extra for this service well over the odd's, Also on your return journey if you exit the hotel and look to your right across the first street there is a taxi rank its easy very easy, If you ask the hotel to call you a cab it will cost you an extra 10 Euro's for the service for the cab to drive 100 yards. Hope this has helped.
