I was flying out of Rome and took the train from Pompei. I accidentally left my luggage on the train, missed my flight but did get my luggage back. I was exhausted from a jam packed 9 day trip from Milan all the way to Amalphi Coast. I didnt even want to look on my phone for a hotel and...

This is more than just a hotel to me. This place was my SAVIOR. I had just come from Roma Palace Inn after canceling my reservation because there was black mold spewing everywhere in that disgusting hotel, and was running around Rome with my husband looking for a place to sleep. We ended up coming into Hotel Charter. The person...

For a short weekend stay in Rome this hotel is perfect. Location is great, very close to Rome Termini station and the Rome tour bus routes. The rooms are small but are very clean and have all you need for a short stay, but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are very polite, helpful and good...

For a short citytrip we booked charter hotel in Rome. The hotel itself is about 25 rooms big. Very cute and cosy hotel. Clean rooms and very nice staff. They helped us out with everything. Very happy for booking this hotel!!

Location is the best. only 1 min. from Roma Termini Station. Near the attractions like Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, by walking a few mins. You can even reach Colosseo by walking from the hotel, but it'll take about 15-20 mins. Nino, the manager, is very kind & funny. He did help us on booking for Museo Borghese, though we...

The location is the best because it is right next to the Rome Termini station and the metro line. So you can get off the train from the airport and walk one block to your hotel. It was also easy to jump on the metro to get to major tourist sites. The service was also exceptional. Everyone at the desk...

Not a bad place to stay, location was great (right next to main termini) although was very noisy at night due to street noise. Only has a small lift to get up and down floors, and even had to call reception to bring lift up to us as there was a problem with it (staff member was very rude to...

This is an incredibly tiny hotel but is only a block from the Rome Termini station and quite close to restaurants and amenities. The bathroom including toilet, sink and shower is smaller than my powder room back home in Canada. The toilet is very low-flow and hard to flush. The bed which advertised as a double is actually two twins...

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Was able to leave luggage for a day. Family owned and run business. Close to many Rome sites and less than 2 blocks from train station and bus transportation to airport. Only problem was step leading down from doorway of room.

Stayed here with my parent's in a triple which was tiny. There was hardly enough room for our luggage and the bathroom was also tiny with the beds all in a row with only enough space to slide past sideways to move from one side to the other. The room itself was clean, though a bit claustrophobic. Staff were very...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
