After reading the bad reviews when I booked this place I was slightly concerned there were various complaints about the noise from the bar below , I will be honest over the course of the 6 nights we spent there on occasion was noise but it really wasn't to loud and our room was literally above the bar in question...

Although this hotel is in a good location for sightseeing and getting about the city easily, we were very disappointed with it. The hotel is directly above a bar/restaurant which is fine during the day , but at night the bar plays loud music until about 2-3am every day. We were staying on the first floor directly above the bar,...

Although there's not elevator, when you get upstairs to the room, it's a nice hidden surprise. We got Room 7, which was recently renovated. Classic style, but very new and nice. Large bathroom with Jacuzzi and sparkling clean. WiFi was amazing, because the router was right outside the door, so we had ultra fast speeds and good reception.

Nice cosy hotel right next to the Colloseum for a great price. Breakfast was offered and included in the price, room was huge and an a bit of a comtemporary style. Room and hotel was very clean. Hotel even offered a private taxi drive for the same price of a taxi for our return to the airport in the morning....

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. The location can't be beat, the rooms were very nice and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had every thing we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Mike and Grace

We stay here 2 nights, our room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, breakfast is sufficient. Our only complaint is the customer service which is almost nonexistent, when you ask for general information about the city. There's a pub downstairs which can be slightly noisy but we didn't have a problem with this, we slept like babies.

I booked the room before I read the complaints.... I decided I would still keep my reservation. I loved staying here and I would stay again. The coliseum is right across the street. The customer service was great. It felt like Rome to me.

Myself and 3 friends booked The Imperial Rooms for a long weekend of sightseeing in Rome. We went on location and it was such a good price. OK, so it's not a posh, smart chain, but that adds to the quirky nature of the hotel and area. After booking I contacted the hotel for advice on certain areas and travel....

Customer service here is pathetic. Our air conditioner broke and they refused to help us find another room or give us a refund. We ended up back on the street late at night looking for a room on our own. Another hotel that was fully booked found us a room at a competitor and got us a cab no questions...

So sorry Mr Paul, You checked-in in the afternoon and claimed a problem with the air conditioning only at midnight. Unfortunately it is not possible to do something during the night time at 01.00 a.m. However the following morning we realized the air conditioning was working properly. In fact the room has been booked and used immediately by other guests...
