We booked this hotel as part of a package. We chose it due to its proximity to the Colosseum and other must do attractions. After reading some of the reviews however we were a little apprehensive. On arriving the entrance is less than imposing, crammed between two cafe/bars and with only a very small brass plate advertising its existence. The...

As a family of four (with 2 young children) we were keen to get a hotel close to the sites so that it minimised walking for tired little legs!...this hotel certainly didn't disappoint. You could see the Colosseum from our window as it was 100m away. There was a metro service across the road, taxi rank round the corner and...

I would not compare Imperial Rooms to what we know as a regular hotel. It is a family driven establishment with very comfartable rooms, some with a view, some with a not so nice backyard view. Breakfast was a continental style, not what we Swedes are used to. We rather like Cheese eggs and vegetables. But as i knew about...

We found the Imperial Rooms are truly hidden gem of a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always smiling and greeting us. They could not have been more welcoming. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed and a superb powerful shower, that was very welcomed after a long day roaming around Rome. The front of the...

Pros -Colosseum is right out your window -Very convenient for transport I.e. Subway -Lots of authentic restaurants nearby -Spacious room -24h reception (hard to find in this price range!) Cons -Noisiest room I ever slept in. The ground floor (I.e right under your bed) is a very popular and loud bar with a huge terrace. -No curtains. At night this...

Perfect location as you can reach Colosseum for a one minute walk, so many wonderful Cafes and restaurants nearby. Kind and polite stuff who can speak English which is a benefit in Rome. The rooms are also clean and large, the size of beds are really imperial and king size.

Well located, clean with comfortable king size bed. The only downfall is the noise that come from the bar/Cafes below which seem to wake up every evening with a vengeance. The racket the patrons make right up to 2-3AM is enough to wake the dead. So if you're not a night owl, I suggest another spot. Also the Wifi in...
