We were recommended this B&B by a friend who lives in the same building. It's near the Termini Station and a short 10 minute walk from the Colosseum. It's housed in an old Roman building and has a lot of character. It's a fairly basic accommodation, but its clean and the host is very friendly and approachable.

This suited me perfectly. I wanted something that was not to impersonal and was handy for the places I wanted to travel to. The hosts were very helpful and I had a great time. I found the hotel through skyscanner.net which was great

Would also like to thank the owner Mr Renè for taking the time in explaining the Roman sights to see, and his excellent advice for dining out. I stayed here overnight in late October 2012. The B&B is not difficult to find, although it could be daunting for a first-time visitor to Rome. The room was very clean and huge, and had a huge window overlooking a quiet street. René, the owner, was very helpful and had great recommendations. There isn't much for food around in the...

The Little Italy Bed & Breakfast is quite convenient to the Main attractions in Rome. It is situated nearby the Termini. And René was really nice and hospitable. For The fact that we arrived quite late in Rome and he patiently waited for us and welcomed us. Room is spacious and clean.

Within about 15 minutes walk from Roma Termini railway station. Little Italy B&B is not located in the most pleasant of areas, a neighbourhood which seems to consist entirely of immigrants from Asia whose albeit innocent habit of hanging around street corners and in doorways often made it quite uncomfortable walking around the area, especially at night. The B&B is...

Stayed for two nights with friends and family. Such a good price at 40 Euros each a night. The B&B is set within a block of old stylish apartments with a sense of real Italian life.Located close to the Termini Train Station, easy walking distance, in an area that is incredible good value for Rome, coffees for 1 Euro! and...

My wife and I stayed at "Little Italy" for 4 nights when we arrived in Rome. We booked late, rooms were hard to find as it was in the middle of high season and a holiday also. Rene was a fantastic host, he helped us negotiate our way around the attractions and he also helped arrange accommodation for us in...

When I was looking for a place to stay in Rome, I was asking the impossible: a cosy cheap clean place near downtown where i could feel perfectly comfortable. All that combination seemed hard to get, but then I found the Little Italy B&B! I stayed there for 3 weeks, and I'm glad to have chosen the Little Italy B&B,...

Little Italy suited me very well. It is situated in a big flat in an old house with some atmosphere and is very close to the metro. The room was simple but clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a little fridge. The only thing I missed was better reading lamps. Breakfast was ok and I also found it an advantage...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
