Francesca was a wonderful host with helpful suggestions and maps. The restaurant she recommended was excellent. The room was very comfortable with great beds and a nice bathroom. The location was great and close to all the major ancient sites. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.

My husband and I traveled Italy last summer for a month and Hotel Rosetta was our favorite hotel. The family-owned hotel provides kind and giving service! The son and daughter were extremely helpful - they helped us with making reservations at museums and directions. The hotel's location is just down the street from the Colosseum! It's really in center of...

We have stayed for 4 nights (from October 28th to Noember 1st) in a superior room in this hotel. Service was very good and people were really fine. Our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was new and big, but there was a little bad smelling probably coming from the plumbing. Not a problem at all....

This is a small family run business. The rooms are very well appointed, spotlessly clean with individual heat and air conditioning controls. The family try excel in looking after their guests. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the Coliseum.

When our cab driver let us off at the huge ancient wooden door right on the sidewalk of Via Cavour, I thought there had been a mistake because it didn't look like a "hotel." The door was locked but a buzzer to the left read Hotel Rosetta and when pushed, someone buzzed us in and the door opened. We walked...

Lovely hotel with walkable distance to the Colosseum. The front desk folks were very helpful. The primary benefit is the location + proximity to the train station. There are a couple of nice stores nearby where we got fruits + groceries for the day. A couple of downsides was the thin walls (folks were loud next room late at night)...

Hotel Rosetta is in the perfect location - practically a stone's throw away from the Colosseum, Forum & Palatine Hill and a short walk from Termini Station. It is on a main road (Via Cavour) but rooms overlook a small courtyard and are actually quiet and private. The room was a decent size - very basic, but VERY clean. The...

We stayed at Rosetta for 3 nights at the very start of our two week trip to Italy. Nestled inside a building that you enter through a private court, Rosetta was our refuge from the chaos of the city after a long day walking and touring through the crowded streets of Rome. The small but dedicated staff made great recommendations...

The Hotel Rosetta was the best place we stayed in Italy. Keeping on a budget can be tough, especially in Rome. The Hotel Rosetta is located in the heart of Rome. It is also one of the quietest places we stayed. It is close to the Metro subway and only one stop from the central train station. We walked to...

I stayed here twice in 2 seperate rooms. 85-90 euro beginning of september for private bathroom and 2 people; no breakfast. Pros: 1. The building inside is very cozy. I felt very safe. 2. The area is great, there is a bar right across. 5min walk from Colosseum. 3. Absolutely no bugs or mosquittos outside, so we could open our...
