Victoria is one of the most rememberable characters from our trip to Italy. While we felt that most italians are little rude, Victoria gave us a relief. We could hardly understand her broken English but she tried her best to give us information and tips...More
The owner, Victoria, was wonderful. She welcomes you as if you are a close friend and she has been eagerly awaiting your visit. While still in Venice I received an email from her asking what time I expected to arrive as she explained there was...More

The service at Principe was great. We arrived early and the owner, Victoria, allowed us to check in and get our trip started in city. She was very sweet and helpful with accommodation and advice for experiencing Rome.
The room was very clean.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Victoria provides coffee, tea or your choice; fresh pastries and fruit; plenty of water if needed; hot beverages are via plug-in hot water coffee pot. Breakfast is served in the room and placed there the evening before as a convenience if you plan to "hit" the streets early. Victoria is very accommodating and will provide you with whatever dietary needs you require. Also provides bottlled water. Very nice bb and wonderful hostess. If you have any further questions, pls feel free to ask. Peter
