We spent short time in Rome, and wanted to stay in a less-touristy section. Also, we wanted to be close to the Termini train station. Our room 305 was large by Rome standards, and quite comfortable. The king bed was comfy, and the bathroom very nice. I would recommend this hotel. Other things were nice too. Location, free pizza voucher,...

The hotel is situation in front of the Opera, centrally located and near to metro station Repubblica. Rooms are not too big, but are beautifully decorated and very clean. Bathroom is clean and spacious and there was a jacuzzi with changing color lights. Front office staff is very kind and helpful. Would definately stay again, it's a great value for...

my husband and I stayed for a long weekend - the room is on the slightly small side but comfortable with a executive double bed, clean sheets and towels. It took us a little while to work out the shower - too many buttons but once going quite nice. The hotel does provide free tea and coffee but only drawback...

Overall a nice hotel, near to metro stations, neat rooms, and nice opera view. Nothing extra ordinary, as the title says, value for money! There is no restaurant in the hotel, as the hotel is like a block of flats, and every floor has a station where you can make your coffee or tea for free.

We stayed here as part of a world trip. Out of all the hotels we stayed across UK, Europe, this hotel was head and shoulders above any. Great location in the best part of Rome, rooms were spacious and spotless. Special mention to the Reception Stafft; humerous and friendly and even though we only spent 4 days, we parted as...

We spent at this hotel one night in September and it was fantastic. We had room number 303- it is a large room with a nice jacuzzi shower. The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated.

We spent three nights in this very smart and well organised hotel. It comes with a 3* rating however it only has few rooms which gives it a nice homely feel to the place as the staff get to know who you are. The service was great, prior to my visit I communicated by email as I got into Rome...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
