Needless to say the location is great. It is in the center of Rome's Transportation system. Trains, subways, busses, even sightseeing busses are within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. It is directly across the street from the Opera House. The staff was very helpful, even answering questions I sent via e-mail before arriving. Our airline lost my luggage for... More

Despite the rough exterior(graffiti on the wall), creepy lobby(don't blink cause if the main wooden doors are closed, specially once it gets dark, you might even walk pass it cause there's no obvious hotel signs), messy reception/office, antique elevator & lack of any real window view of anything... this hotel surely makes up for great rates, very friendly & efficient... This hotel has a great location overlooking the Teatro dell'Opera, within a very short walking distance of Termini station and within an easy walk of all forms of public transport and lots of the main tourist attractions. Plus there are a host of restaurants and bars on the doorstep. The rooms are immaculate and very comfortable, with top-end bathroom facilities,... More

This hotel is so wonderful. The location is convenient to the train station and many of the sights. Our room overlooked the Opera House and it had windows we could open up to take in the life below. The room was clean and the shower terrific! There was a station outside of our room to make tea and coffee and... More

Very friendly and helpful on reception. Room was clean and pretty spacious. The bathroom was super - shower was all singing all dancing, but was lacking in hot water sometimes during the day. I wouldn't bother with breakfast - it is a cafe round the corner and offerings are a bit meagre. There is a very useful Carrefour supermarket across... More

Centrally located (close to train station), close to great restaurants, shopping and attractions. Rooms are beautiful and modern, with interior of hotel with old world charm. Loved the TV in the mirror of the bathroom. Fantastic and helpful staff. Great stay!

This boutique hotel in Central Rome has a lot going for it. It's in walking distance of Termini Station, metro stops (subway, bus & tram) and tons of eateries. Nearly all major attractions of the ancient city are accessible by walking or taking public transit (for the Vatican, I recommend taking subway or taxi). Personalized service was a positive (thank... Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
