The convent is right across the street from the Vatican Museum and is easily to catch a cab to anywhere. The reception desk is open until 6:30 pm and afterward you can ring a bell for service until 11:30 pm. If you arrive after 6:30 pm - you cannot get a code for wifi, so you are out of luck...

My husband and I spent three nights at this convent B & B and would stay here again. We had minimum interaction with the nuns and staff but the interaction was always friendly and helpful. The double room we had was a good size and the bathroom was large. There is internet service, which costs 1 euro for your entire...

What a great location when visiting the Vatican and Rome. The room was spotless, airy and bright with a lovely big bathroom. There is a communal kitchen with a microwave (no oven/ hotplate) tea and coffee making and fridge. Out the back is a lovely gazebo with seating available - great place to sit quietly with a cup of tea....

This was my 3rd stay here, My aunt is a nun at the "main convent house" on Lake Garda. The nun's have always been wonderful. Friends of ours are there in Sept. There is WIFI but it is slow. There is luggage storage if you need it. If you like the idea of not overpaying for a hotel room, check...

This place is run by nuns who make you feel at home immediately. As Rome is full of overpriced hotels with more or less friendly staff, this hotel really makes a difference. The atmosphere is a little more "hostel" than "hotel" but in a positive sense. There is a curfew (theoretically) but no one minds some quiet late home-comers. I...

This working convent is an excellent choice for Rome. The rooms are rather modern and spotlessly clean. Most convents have a curfew but this one does not. It is almost exactly across the street from the entrance to the Vatican Museum. We had two adults and two teens in one room without a problem (at least with the room!). Our...

My sister and I have stayed here three times now on two different trips to Italy and we can only recommend them. The nuns are lovely (dont speak any English but they work hard to overcome that with us!) and the rooms are spotless and cleaned daily. The convent is extremely well located for anyone interested in the Vatican but...

I was delighted by this place. First, it's almost directly across the street from the Vatican Museums entrance, which was very handy. You can walk to the Metro in five minutes or so. Second, the rooms was modern, clean, and comfortable. Third, the price is terrific. When I arrived, a nun right out of central casting welcomed me at the...

Rome can be expensive, but here you are right next to the Vatican (right across the entrance to the Vatican museums), near the metro and buses to get around in Rome at a budget price. Don't be scared that it's a convent, they are super nice/friendly nuns, they only speak Italian, so good luck with your reservation! There is a...
