Sergio is a great host he gives full information about Rome. The BB has central lication so u can use just ur feet to visit most of monuments. the metro is 10 metres away. U can use the kitchen it is better than the small breakfast offered.

Sergio. His personal commitment to make sure our stay went smoothly involved a tremendous amount of his time and personal commitment to solving our luggage problem. No hotel would have ever been able to or would have put this amount of helpfullness into their service. Roman Rooms Rock! Thank you Sergio! Without you we would've likely not obtained our luggage...

Super-helpful, English-speaking host, great breakfasts, in a fantastic location for tourists not into touristy areas (metro stop just down the street, several good neighborhood restaurants nearby) & a bargain price for Rome.

We stayed in this B&B for 2 nights. This should have been 4, but due to problems with the room (water damage) we were taken to another B&B instead. The owner solved this well and we got to see more of Rome. The location is great. Walking distance to the Central Termini station, a subway is 10 seconds and the...

With a charismatic host, that is both very helpful and friendly! Rooms are different and much more interesting than the typical rooms weve stayed in in rome this summer. Breakfast is not really breakfast in rome-nomatter where you go -so we skipped it (croissant+drink) and ate early lunches instead. We had an excellent stay here for 3 nights :)

We loved the room and the feeling about this lovely B and B. Our hosts were lovely and the room was quiet. An easy walk to,lots of places and the Metro close by. Only one small complaint - the shower wasn't great. Otherwise fantastic and I think good value.

Definitely value for money. Great location. Seconds away from Metro and walking distance to 'Termini' the main train/metro station. Definitely useful. Especially on the last day when you have to return here with your luggage. No complaints. Previous reviews state load floor boards which is correct but did not cause us any problems e.g. keep up awake. Was exactly what...

We stayed at Roman Rooms for 4 nights. It was our first stay in Italy and in my opinion the best stay we had. The airway lost our luggage and our host actually organized to have it delivered to another location and went and picked up our bag for us. The room was clean and comfortable with an updated bathroom....

This was a clean and very central place to stay. Nothing fancy but clean sheets, and decent attached bathroom. It was close to the main train station and that made our travel very easy. The breakfast was an awful coffee and doughnut across at a small coffee shop, in fact we kinda, threw away the coupons for that! So its...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
