Stayed in Raffaello Room. Very nice. Room very big. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Wi-Fi worked. No fridge but had use of fridge in kitchen. Central to everything - taxi's hop on hop off bus and walking distance to lots of tourist sites. Only down side was there was no one there to meet us when we arrived and could...

I have been in Rome several times and this was by far the best ever. Ideal location, great room, very spacious, nicely appointed and extremely clean. The owner and staff were very friendly and bent over backwards to be helpful. It is in a central location close to the Trevi Fountain; a 20 minute walk or short cab ride from...

When it comes to travelling in Roma, there are so many things to see and do that time gets away from you. You are often off mid morning and not home to sleep until midnight - it is a city that is still buzzing till well after the witching hour. Knowing this, it makes sense to book a location close...

Was recommended to us by our travel agent, so very pleased we took her advice. The rooms are lovely, the bed is so very comfortable. The location is perfect for the Trevi Fountain and is central to much more. If you have problems with street noise and happy voices passing by, then maybe this isn't the location for you! But...

We have stayed here a few times over the last few years, generally when we are in Rome for 2 to 4 nights, and intend to go back again. The rooms themselves are comfortable (we have had the Leonardo each time), roomy, nice bathroom with bath. The location is central without being very busy or noisy (though the bustle of...

My adult daughter and I stayed here in Oct 2012. We chose this B&B based on other Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. Location: I could not have been happier with the location. The Trevi fountain is less than a 5 min stroll away, with many shops, restuarants, bottle shops and souvenir shops all around. We walked to the...

We had a wonderful time in Rome and a wonderful time at the Relais Fontana. Great location, very comfortable, quality fittings and wonderful service. Although there was an Internet connection, this wasnt able to be used with our iPad. Eduardo's solution - put in wifi. This was fabulous and made our life a lot easier!!! Francesca is an absolute gem...

It's been a pleasure to have you two in my B&B, and thank you for finally giving me the motivation of installing Wi-Fi in the house! Welcoming people from all over the world is what we love best, but receiving positive comments is always pleasant. Thank you for your kind words, and I'm looking forward to meeting you again.

What a fantastic place to stay! Thanks to Edoardo this is definately a home away from home. Right in the middle of all the big attractions. Trevi fountain 200m away! Air conditioning throughout the whole building. Very welcoming after the very hot days in Rome! This is so much better than any big hotel. Will definately come back!

This B&B is in a great location. On arrival there were no signs to indicate the premises. However, when we were there some signs were erected. Would be great if they had a sign in the entrance to let you know what floor it was on, a intercom would be great. It was a relief to find a lift, certainly...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.

“Stay in the Raffaello Room as it was very big.”
 of 5 bubbles JulieS64, 19 Jun 2015 | Read review
“Michalangelo has a small sitting room separate from the bedroom which is good for friends that may want their own space (or suit when child travelling with parents) and is very quiet but the negative is the lack of natural light; the front room (I thing Raphael or Botticelli) is much larger with a small round table, sofa and heaps of light coming in from large windows but this is all in a single large room and is more likely to be noisy at night; the third room is more of a standard queen size room set back from the main road with a large window.”

“The "Raffaello" is huge and exceptionally comfortable. The "Leonardo" smaller but equally comfortable.”

“The Leonardo room looked out onto a laneway, I didn't see any other rooms, but I can't imagine there would be a bad one.”
  • View from window of Leonardo room
  • Bathroom - very clean and modern
  • Leonardo Room - very roomy

“This room is on the corner of the building. It did get noisy at times during the night as there is a cigarette vending machine outside the building in the side street, also the street is a thoroughfare between the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps, but that is what you expect in a large city, and the convenience of the B&B far out-ways the noise.”
