Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is included and consist of crossiant, coffee, and juice. The room is small. I would stay again for the price. City tax must be paid in cash. Excellent location! Near train station, metro, market, and restaurants.

We had read the reviews of this place so expected confusion, which we got. We found the building easily but could not get into the main gates, mainly because the Serendipity is not actually labelled but you need to ring the Hotel Enrica. Once through the heavy gate, watch your fingers in it, you find yourselves in a courtyard with...

The hotel is set in a older building in a courtyard behind locked gates & felt very safe & secure, with little outside noise at night. The room if a little tired (& with a wonky curtain) was large and clean with daily maid service. The WIFI worked well. The bathroom was large & clean with plenty of hot water...

The Serendipity was has to find, once there we were sent to a different location , no explanation given. The room was small and tired, the water was hot but without much pressure. Bed fine but with only a sheet no blanket. Breakfast was meagre and served in a cafe 5 mins walk away. As it was also frequented by...

We loved this place. The rooms are modern and very clean. The cleaning staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to our day. This is really close to a Metro stop that connects to the Rome Termini. We felt safe in the neighborhood. It's within walking distance of a grocery store and many bars and restaurants,...

A place to share your views and get comfort. Very near to the Station , clean and absolutely friendly atmosphere. Dr. Mohibur, my husband booked for my family and we enjoyed it really. We recommend it to any family willing to have their closet stay in Rome to walk all arround.

This is a great place to stay. If you can't afford a hotel but want something better than a hostel, this is your place. Came with breakfast included, which was awesome. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Was visiting Rome for my 1st year anniversary and the owner recommended a FANTASTIC restaurant for celebratory dinner. We had fantastic memories here, would stay...

We had a really pleasant stay. The part of the hotel we were in had obviously been recently upgraded. It was clean and modern and a really good place to put your head down after a long day exploring the delights of Rome. Very close to the train terminus and with the Roma Pass we purchased we made good use...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
