Hi, Lots of small groceries in the area with wonderfully fresh fruit when I was there in October. Not sure about chicken breasts.

It was really safe. I was with my family, and we walked in the evening with no problem. You are really close to the Vatican and there is always a lot of police. Enjoy your stay. Cheers. CD
