Stayed one night as I wanted to be close to the train station. Receptionist was very helpful with maps etc. Room was small but clean. Continental breakfast provided. Offered to store my luggage once I had checked out.

Rooms were clean and adequately sized (standard European size - ie. small by US standards). Location was convenient - close to Termini (main bus/train station) & a metro stop. Front desk staff are not very friendly. One swore at us because we weren't aware that we needed to pay cash for the city tax. Hotel is on a busy street...

This is a family run hotel, ideally located near the transport centre of Rome. Local bars restaurants and shops make it an ideal staging post for a Rome visit. The rooms are clean, well maintained and comfortable, with air conditioning and fridge. The breakfast is adequate, it is a traditional continental breakfast, limited but fresh. - As a base for...

We stayed here for three nights, the hotel and room were spotless, the bed was comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly, The hotel was close to the Termini which offered bus or train transport to all the main tourist spots. You could also walk to the Colosseum, which takes about 20 mins. Their are some good restaurants down the...

Hotel Dolomiti is so strategically located in Rome since it is a walking distance to two train stations. For three days we always take the train to and from the different tourist spots within the city. The Hotel is quite interesting since it is located on the second floor of the building with another hotel occupying the lower ground floor....

Had a very bad experience here. Checked in late at night, and there was a communication problem between and Hotel.com, where we booked it and hence had reserved a room for four adults and a baby in a crib, though we had specified the kid was 12 years old. They then asked us to adjust for the night, and said...

Dear customer, we are sorry your stay was unsatisfactory. However we would like to clarify some points. Expedia bookings did not specify the age of the child and has requested a crib. Facts on your arrival, late in the evening, you found what was booked . For wi-fi, as repeatedly explained, there are problems receiving the signal in all the...

We really liked our stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the neighborhood is pretty quiet. There also are restaurants close by and a couple gelato places as well. It is also close to a metro stop. We did also notice the rooms didn't have wifi but the breakfast common area did so we used it in...

The building houses 5 different hotels and this one shares the rooms with Hotel Lachea. It's located approx. 600 m from Roma Termini station and 100 m from the next Metro station with busses stopping along the street. There is a supermarket on Piazza Dell'indipendenza approx. 250 m away. The rooms are clean if old fashioned and the staff was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
