This hotel is right across from the Vatican and close to several great restaurants. The rooms are small (as in all Rome hotels) but nice. Very good breakfast. Hotel can book a car to and from airport - although it will be quite expensive if you have a very early flight. You might want to keep this in mind as...

My wife and I spent four nights here in November 2010. Everything was as advertised, and more. A superb location, opposite the entrance to the Vatican Museums, coupled with a beautiful building in a classic Italian style. From previous trips to Europe I was expecting the typical smallish room, but was pleasantly surprised by a very large room at the...

The location of his hotel was the reason I booked it, as my mother is elderly. The rooms and staff far exceeded my expectations. the hotel is literally steps from the vatican museum. I wish I could remember the name of the sweet woman at the front desk who was so helpful in pointing out a great and inexpensive restaurant...

We chose this hotel because of proximity to the Vatican Museum (across the street) and now it is our preferred hotel in Rome. The rooms are very well appointed and quiet (quiet is important in Rome with all the motorcycles). Breakfast is substantial. Wifi is free in the room with good signal and speed. The staff is very helpful.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good sized and very clean room for our family four. Breakfast is good quality and good selection of food. In good weather, roof terrace offers great views of the Vatican. Bar area is more "B&B" style - the front desk staff runs back to the bar to prepare the drinks. Warm, friendly service and...

My family and I were going on a transatlantic cruise on the Celebrity Silohuette out of Rome and decided to go over a day early and see some of the sites in Rome. We decided on this hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! This hotel is directly across the street from the Vatican museum....

We enjoyed out time at the Alimandi. Very family friendly, good service and large clean rooms, although a bit basic. There are no other facilities at the hotel (no gym, spa etc.), which you might expect for a 4 star. Breakfast was a varied continental collection and never too busy. We found the eggs and bacon to be luke warm...

Wonderful hotel, personal service, very clean, fabulous breakfasts, great neighborhood, easy to get to sights but not caught up in the crowds. And if you are planning on a Vatican visit (we did not), it is at your doorstep! Stay here, you won't be sorry! BMNS New York City

Just returned from a 3 night break at the Alimandi Hotel in Rome. Stayed in a family room which included two comfortable large king beds and a stylish bathroom (good shower). The breakfast buffet was good but more continental style with scrambled eggs! Both reception and restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful. The location is great but at a price...
