Room was extremely small. it didn't even have 2 night-tables, but only 1. On the other hand it has 1 extensible bed (and no space for it to be extended) which was really unnecessary as the room was like maximum 9 square meters. The toilet wasn't clean at all and all the water from the bathroom was flouting into the room....

The room is very clean and quiet, in the breakfast included there's plenty of food (brioches, bread, jam, butter, fruit juice, coffee & milk...), the place is very near to the station and metro, the price is very cheap. The only thing that didn't work very well was the TV into the room: the signal was very bad, impossible to...

We came with a large class of university students sharing 3- and 4-bedrooms with shared baths. The hotel staff is extremely organized and accommodating with our needs. Hotel Cervia is located within 10 minutes walking from Termini station, in a neighbourhood of budget hotels and hostels. We choose it because of the proximity, convenience and value. What we got was...

The location of the hotel is very good and convenient - its central and in walking distance of the city's attractions, and less than 5 minutes from Rome Termini station (Rome's main train station). Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and it was cosy and a good size. The hotel was an extremely...

Near the station, metro bus & tram, clean & quiet rooms with all comfort, friendly people at the desk, wi-fi included & fast, large breakfast. The quality / price value is very good. Absolutely recommended.

It should be good if guests have option to decrease the temperature in the rooms. We were there in December and it was too hot in the room (27-28 deg C). Everything else was very good. The rooms are very clean and the stuff is very helpful. The price is reasonable taking into consideration the hotel is in the very...

I was here with 21 students and 4 companions. We have been very satisfied, especially because Mario and his crew are so kind, obliging, and cooperative. The rooms are clean, the water was warm, the heating was good.

It's always difficult to book a cheap AND clean accomodation for a school group of 40 students and 4 teachers. Hotel Cervia certainly met up to our standards: the rooms and bathrooms were kept clean during our entire stay, repairs were swiftly dealt with (within one day!) and the staff was ever so helpful and relaxed, even when we asked...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
