This was a cheap idea cause we traveled a lot between 5 day so we just needed place to sleep and have shower, well we found it quite well cause it close to Termini station which was why I chose this other wise I would not stay ! We arrived and there were 5 guys, I went to "recption" and...

- There was one bathroom/toilet for around 10 people, so we had to queue a lot in the morning/evening, and it got very dirt - The toilet paper ran out a few times - They weren't going to give us any bedlinens, but eventually we got at least flat sheets on the bed. No duvet cover + But the location...

I stayed here this past weekend with 5 friends. We booked together but arrived separately but within 1 hour. They wouldn't let us stay in the same rooms despite us booking under one. Also, no where does it say cash only, but they wouldn't accept our cards. Additionally the water is either extremely hot or cold and barely dribbles out...

Two ducks Hostle is cheap and nasty but it is not far walking distance from Termini metro but it is not the nicest hostel, the rooms are firstly dirty and second very cold I wouldn't go back... You are better off spending that extra £10 for a nicer hostel else where

I have never been in a dirty place like that. But I start from the beginning: - The address is probably not the address where you will sleep. We had to leave the building and street. The apartment in which we have been was in Via Macao, third floor, named ‘Roberta’. It is an apartment with a few rooms, little...

Booked this hostel in advance because it was the cheapest hostel in Rome. I wouldn't recommend this hostel, it was kind of dirty and it isn't located in a very nice neighbourhood. It is close to the trainstation though.

do not stay at this hostel. me and my friend booked it because it was cheap, close to the train station and seemed like an OKAY place to stay when you're on a budget. the reception is hard to find - no sign or anything. a random dude from a nearby shop saw us looking lost and helped us to...

Well, it wasn't as good as every other hostel that I have seen, but me and my friend booked it last minute so it was our only choice. It is well located. It was very difficult to find the hostel at first. We were walking around the area, but it was not labeled at all. And we asked a person...

Firstly, when I visited the reception to check in it was only then you were instructed that the hostel was not located there but in another close by building. The room I stayed in had 6 beds and the dorm contained 3 rooms but it was a bit upsetting that there was one 1 toilet and bath for everyone to...

I had read so much about this place that I thought I would stay here. I was moving back to the United States after attending university in Rome and, being that I was not sure of my exact date of departure, originally booked for three nights and stopped at the front desk for the next two days to extend my...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
