This beautiful old bed and breakfast type hotel in a 200 year old building is perfect for the economy minded traveler who does not demand 24 hour service. There are 15 guest rooms with 5 rooms on 3 floors. The rooms small, but well appointed. There is not much storage space and the bathroom, by American standards, are tiny, but...

Best service! Best location! It was in the middle of Rome, but at night you heard NO noise from the city. The rooms are all tucked away in the back of the building by a church. It was the best sleep we have had in any city area. They put out nice snacks, juice, coffee and tea everyday for us....

My husband and I stayed here for our first trip to Rome. We loved the location because it was off the busy touristy streets and on a quiet side street. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel. Our room was very clean and my husband loved the one cup esspresso maker! Staff consisted of one gentleman who greeted...

First, we have to point out the great service: the people who run the place are so nice and accommodating. When my wife and I arrived late in the evening, someone was waiting just for us to arrive. He pointed all the main sites on the map and means and ways to get there - the hotel is really at...

We were really pleased with the level of accommodation and service at Aenea and contrary to many reviews on accommodation in Rome, the staff couldn't have done more for us. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to Termini, Colosseum and we walked everywhere (aside from to the Vatican). The room was very clean, well-proportioned and perfect for our stay...

The location is within walking distance from Termini train station. David and his staff went above and beyond making us feel at home. The room was decent, bathroom was clean, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel. This is a hotel I'll be back to visit.

The room was fantastic, basic but with everythig you would need, nespresso machine fridge, basket of bisuits and jam supplied daily and small kitchenette, Very clean and plenty of fresh towels supplied.A basket of fresh bread and croissants is left hanging on your door...

We stayed at the Aenea at September 2011, and highly recommend it! Finding the hotel is a bit tricky, as the house numbers in Via Urbana are sequential on both sides of the street , not even-odd. So the hotel, number 156, is between houses number 155 and 157, and opposite houses number 3 and 4! Once you locate the...

We stayed in a family suite which was spacious and clean. David the manager was very helpful pinpointing attractions within walking distance and supplied us with his mobile should any problems arise at any time. Beds were comfortable. Room had a bar fridge, welcome basket of goodies and coffee maker which impressed me. A basket of breads etc is delivered...

Aenea Inn is full of charm. I felt like a local as this inn is located in a building with other private residences. It’s in a good location that is centrally located and quick walk from all of the sites in the city center. The hotel is also within short walking distance from Cavour station on the B line, Repubblica...
