Great hotel - would definitely stay here again. Very close to St Peter's/Vatican, great restaurants nearby. The B&B is 3 doors down from Atlante Star Hotel - when you arrive you check-in at Atlante Star Hotel, and they take you to your room, give you keys, etc. It all worked very smoothly for us - exactly like staying at the...

Booked a single room with shuttle service to and from the airport The room was very nice and modern, had free coffee and the staff was super friendly, once you include the cost of shuttle service to the airport (standard practice around fiumicino) the price is roughly in line with other airport hotels but in my opinion the level of...

We stayed there with our young daughter the first week of December. The room was a bit cold (but hey, we're Canadian. lol), and there was no phone or TV, so amenities, not so much. Perfect for us though, because we just used the room for sleeping. However, it's a beautiful old building, with a really cool old elevator running...

I was travelling alone to Rome for a few days and booked this Bed and breakfast. The room is reasonably basic, 4 beds in one room with a bathroom attached - including a jacuzzi. Located in a Residential building from what I could gather, it is literately just beside the main Hotel - this is where you go for breakfast....

We stayed only one night, unfortunately! It is a lovely flat to stay in, fresh, spacious and in a perfect location! We were greeted by a kind welcome and excellent service, being shown to the flat, and our bags being carried. We were delighted with the flat, it is a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a...

The rooms are a bit old, the bathroom seemed to have been updated in recent years. The aircon worked without any problems, we had a mini fridge and a tiny tv in the room. Really quiet, no noise from the street or from other guests as there were only 3 rooms in the building we stayed at. The breakfast was...

After reading all the reviews of this hotel after I booked it I was slightly concerned as to what we were going to be met with! But after reading information I knew that you had to check in to the hotel to then be shown to your B&B room whch was around the corner from the hotel. The hotel was...

I thought all the bad reviews I have read was untrue on my ist day of stay but upon checking out this guy in the front desk was very rude and don't seem to care and not apologetic at all. I reserved for a transportation to airport and I verified with him he said that no reservation and I will...

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
