I stayed in Hotel Boccacio on June 21 for 2 nights. For 45Euro, single room, it was quite a steal! The hotel is on the 1st floor. Upon enetring the main door, you have to climb a few steps of stairs. (Not a bad thing, though, if you're not carrying a heavy luggage.) You either go in the elevator or...

Our room was clean and had interesting, cozy decorations. However, our room did not have a shower and we used the shared shower down the hall. The shared shower had so much mold that it made me slightly dizzy and nautious. I would recommend the rooms with a shower, but not the rooms without a shower.

This hotel is centrally located on a quiet street, a secured building with a wonderfully pleasant owner. The hotel is just minutes away from the Trevi Fountain. The room itself is bare bones basic with actually a bit more size than most in it's class. However the bathroom was decrepit, old (but clean) towels added to the general uncomfortable feel...

“Clean and cozy” and a generally relaxed environment all-round. It was my first trip to Rome, and didn't spend much time in my room as I was always on the go. It is near the metro station Barberini, so it makes very easy to get around by bus and Metro. It is also within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain,...

I was very happy to have found the Boccaccio. I stayed there twice, in 2 different rooms, during a recent trip to Italy. My rooms were basic and clean, the beds were comfortable. each room had its own sink. and a wardrobe, a clean bathroom and shower were down the hall and shared only by a few rooms. For 45...

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel - my husband and I. We were very happy with the little hotel. Our room was small, but clean and we didnt have any troubles with noise. It was easy to come and go. We only had a sink in our room and shared shower/toilet with the other rooms. It felt more...

My wife and I travel to Rome regularly for both of our jobs and we have tried many two and three star hotels over the last number of years. My wife first told me of Hotel Boccaccio when it was recommended to her by a friend and each of us subsequently have stayed there numerous times in the past year....

Take into account the star rating of the hotel, and you will be very pleased. It had everything that was needed. A nice, clean, comfortable bed, a sink in the room, communal bathroom. The best part was where it was located. Perfect! A nice walk to all major locations. The Trevi fountain was not more then a 5 minute walk....

We stayed in the Hotel Boccaccio for 4 nights in late Feb. To call it a hotel is a little complimentary. It is a pensione in which a number of rooms are located off of a central hallway with the owner's living quaters at the end of the hall. The decor is unique to say the least, artistic perhaps. The...

This hotel is no good. They did not change sheets or towels for the FIVE NIGHTS we stayed at this hotel. My husband and I had trouble sleeping because it is located by a very popular restaurant. There was no A/C, which I knew about, but you could not keep the windows open because of the noise level outside. We...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
