The hotel is 1 star, don't expect much. Consider that you could pay much more expensive specially in Rome with high price if you wanted to take better accommodation. Near to Train station and so easy access to airport. in city center with many shops around. Not far from touristic places in city via bus which are plenty in that...

Small room but clean and functional: I was there with my son for 4 nights. Staff very helpfull and friendly, breakfast next door in a bar. Excellent location close to metro, supermarket, main train station but in a quiet area!

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, they also provided us with several useful tips and information. Location is a 5 mins walk away from Manzoni Metro station which makes commuting very convenient! Generally a B&B that is perfect for travellers on budget, I would not recommend this place for people who are fussy and have high expectations...

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Our 4 person apartment was larger than expected. Breakfast was basic a hot drink and pastry but good choice of pastry. This is ok for a couple of nights but not for a week's holiday. Great snack kiosk at the end of the road outside the Park Emmanuel Vittorio. Good food and service, excellently...

The staff are great helping us whenever we ask question. Got a room for with 4 single beds for all of us. The room is a bit small with limited space to walk but it was clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom is great. Wifi is excellent. Breakfast is available. Near to the train station and also Colosseum. 10-15 minutes walk....

15 minutes from the train station so very walkable. Also 15 minutes to the coloseum. I understood breakfast was included but instead I was given a voucher for cappacino and a pastry at the patisserie next door - the quality was good, just didn't think it constituted a breakfast. Room was fine and people friendly enough. Yes, for the price,...

Stayed here for two nights, in a triple room which was in a separate building down the road from the actual 'Family House'. The room was perfect for us as we literally just needed it to sleep in, it was clean and air conditioned and the bathroom was surprisingly nice! We were expecting much worse given how cheap it was...

We stayed for a few days with friends, the staff was very helpful and friendly always keen to give us information and directions. The breakfast was nice too, typical Italian! The only thing we didn't like so much was the rooms. They were a bit dirty, killed mosquitos on the wall, dirty bath rug. In overall I would say it...

It was on the 4th floor with no elevator, a really bad room, with no working aicondition, not working lamps, the...

Incredibly affordable price to stay in the heart of Rome! Close to a Metro station and walkable to the Colosseum. The staff here are some of the best I have experienced in my travels through Europe, North America and Australia; they set the bar high for customer service! They treated us like their own family members, and the guys at...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
