Very good location, no WiFi in room on 4th floor only in the reception 3floors below. Good size room but toilet and shower room small. No tea/ coffee facilities. 1 night ok but not for longer. Receptionist was lovely and friendly. Needs a bit of an update.

Small room. Very, but very small bathroom. It is "Mission impossible" to take a shower there. The staff don't know English and it was very hard for communication. Wifi is more than bad, low or no signal. It is way too expensive for that kind of misery. Only location was good.

Well this was the cheapest hotel which I got. The hotel is located inside a building and the building has other hotels as well. So I think these people had 2 floors under their name. Hotel room was fine. I had only two problems. One is that shower box was two small to fit in. You can just stand and...

This place is nice. I would say above average but that might be because I primarily use hostels. It's a little hard to find if you don't know where you're looking but from the station its to your right and on the right hand side of via Milazzo. Literally next door to a tourist activity type place - two doors...

The location is great if arriving by train as very close to the main station and 20 minute walk to the Colosseum. The hostel is seems shares a lift and building with a few others so you go up to reception and then up more to rooms on various floors whilst passing other receptions and room signs. The guy on...

My 16 yr old daughter and I stayed here for one night 29/9/14. As it was a cheap 2 star hotel I wasn't expecting much. I was more interested in the fact it was a 5 minute walk from the Termini. I was pleasantly surprised on firstly being greeted by a very helpful and friendly girl at the reception. The...

This room was great for what we needed. This was super close to termini and walkable to all the major locations. Sergio helped us settle in and gave us a mAp. He also helped us communicate with another hotel that had kept our credit card. The room was clean and pretty average. The bed was a little hard. We are...

Having paid about 65 euro for the hotel, I did not expect great luxury. I did, however, expect cleanliness, promises to be kept, and good customer service. I got none of these. When we came to check in, we had to wait 10 mins as the reception was closed and there was a note on the door. Good hotels do...

Location of hotel is good; it is near to Termini station. Room was well cleaned. But here is the list of negative things 1). A.C. (Air conditioner) was broken. We called reception but they were unable to make it. 2.) In the morning there was no water in bathroom n shower. I called reception again but according to them it...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
