This bijou hotel has everything you need, excellent central location. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The breakfast room was charming. Loved Rome and loved this hotel would return in a heartbeat.

Rooms are clean and decent. But poor wifi connection. Staff are unhelpful. When we asked how to reserve tickets to the Colosseo online while we cannot connect to the wifi of the hotel, she did not show any intention to help us go online or fix the wifi connection. In its sister hotel in Rome, the nice staff there offered...

Very nice Hotel, clean room and big enough for 2 persons to stay for a while. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only "negative" thing to mention sometimes it was a bit loud and there was no international TV. But the location of the hotel is great, you can walk to all the sights and metro/ bus is only a...

The location was very convenient and the room clean and decent. Although there's something that I would like to mention as my boyfriend and I found it a bit odd. We had just arrived and were about to set about for our planned activities but I forgot something in my bag so we went back upstairs to them room, to...

We booked a double room and they gave us an even bigger one with a plus bed. The room was tidy, with soft colors; the bathroom large with toiletries. We loved also a good variety for breakfast (buffet) and the staff was very nice as they allowed us to leave our luggages after the checkout.

Beautiful family run hotel in the centre of Rome. The location is superb, with great transport links (bus and metro), as well as within walking distance to the Ancient Roman ruins, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain amongst others. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern. The breakfasts, served in a newly renovated breakfast hall, offer a great variety...

It is a small hotel, i think it is a family hotel. Plus: not far from the traini station Termini, very friendly staff, clean, open 24 hours, the price was ok, very nice elevator like in the film with Corado Catani. Minus: not simple to find it ( it is at the 4th floor from of a building), the room...

This must be the only hotel I have made a reservation in the past 10 years that didn't send an email reminding you of your upcoming stay. I thought I cancelled the reservation I made over a month ago to realised that I have been charged a night stay. Had I received a reminder, this would not have happened. Maybe...

Very Comfortable Hotel with very pleasant staff, location could not be better, you can walk almost everywhere, if not the famous 64 Bus (Vatican) operates right outside. Close to Termini Station, quite simply cars and taxis are not required.

This is a small family owned hotel that is very quaint, cute and clean. It is central to the tourist spots, reasonably priced and was perfect for a weekend in Rome on a budget. I was there in early September. AC was a must at this time and the unit in my room worked very well. No frills, but comfortable...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
