Hotel Golden was an amazing find on TripAdvisor. We recently spent 4 nights here before heading out on a cruise. And, although we were heading off to board a ship, leaving the hotel was bittersweet. From the moment we were greeted by Giuseppe, we felt like long lost family! He was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist us in getting...

I couldn't visit Rome and not stay at Hotel Golden! If it's not broken why fix it right? I enjoyed myself so much knowing for sure my stay would be nothing short of just wonderful. The Loria family as always, so so kind and nice to me. My room as expected with everything I need for a restful and pleasant...

Excellent service from the management. The carried bags for us an and called cabs. They helped pick out local restaurants which served good food at reasonable prices. They gave information on tipping which we were not aware of. The breakfast meals had great variety and were delicious.

A very nice hotel with everything you need to vacation in the best of comfort and security. The family owned atmosphere and freindliness was so welcoming and they made us feel like one of the family. The breakfasts each morning were full of varity and so tastety. The service staff were unnoticed but kept our room fresh and clean every...

The hotel was family run.Out apartment was in a private section so required the staff top open the door each time which was a little tiresome. Breakfast was in a rom that was extremely cosy (a little too cosy). Location was right near Villa Borgehese so little out of the way but nevertheless it was a lovely place to stay....

The Hotel Golden is conveniently situated near many attractions in Rome. It is family owned and run. They make you feel like part of the family and are anxious to help you discover their beautiful city. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Never been made more welcome than here. Loved the whole family, and grandma's breakfasts are fantastic. Great location too. Easy walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Borghese Park and Gallery. Our hosts helped us with restaurant choices as well.

Four great nights here as a solo female traveler on a budget. Had an adorable single room the first 3 nights (#105 with windows that open to the quiet street below) and moved up to a double the 4th night. Each room is unique with updated private bathroom. It is spotless! Rooms are small but each had a little desk...

The Hotel Golden is a wonderful family run hotel to the north of the city. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and they are on hand 24/7. On arrival we were handed maps and suggestions of where to visit, local restaurants and travel information. There were four in our party and we had booked two superior doubles with en...

We arrived early and our room was ready, so we were able to check in early. The hotel is run by a family and they were very friendly. The room was small but we knew that before we booked. It could have used a better bed but it didn't really matter after a 9 hour flight and walking around the...

Kevin we are so sorry you had to leave early and could not meet and enjoy Mamma Teresa's breakfast. being Hotel Golden's breakfast a 100% homemade breakfast, it takes time for Mamma to bake the breads and the croissants and have ready all the "frittata" and other recipes she makes every morning, and that is the reason she does not...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

We will be so happy to meet you! ... more   less
