The windows and doors are absolutely not insulated, so it is very very noisy. At night you can not sleep without earplugs!
It's cold in the rooms, an air conditioner heats the room and you should ask the receptionist to turn it on!!!

I spent ten nights in this hotel in November 2016. It was very reasonably priced and the staff were helpful. There was 24hr reception, a generous breakfast included in the price and tea making facilities free for guests in reception. There was air conditioning in...More
This hotel worked out cheaper than a hostel for the 2 nights we stayed in Rome. The room had no air conditioning and the TV did not work. There was a free buffett breakfast which included croissants, toast, eggs, etc. It's about a 20 min...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
