We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Clean hotel very close to termini train station. They changed the towels everyday and the bed clothes in night 3. breakfast is the same everyday (ham, cheese, cereals, jam, chocolate cream, milk, coffee, juice). We had a room with an inner courtyard view, not so nice, but we stayed in town all...

What a shame the wifi doesn't work the hotel seem to have employed an unconventional wifi system that doesn't work. So much so I am giving my review from my mobile which doesn't drop out after five minutes. Staff great, room large and wonderfully central and well priced. Yet it is frustrating not to have internet management needs to fix...

The positives- cheap; close to railway termini; clean; good heating. Negatives- wifi only worked in the lobby so couldn't use in our room, had to sit in foyer to access it; towels are not real towels- more like big tea towels/ or a table cloth; our room smelt really bad when we arrived for the first night and we slept...

Booked through booking.com and didn't get what we ordered. Room was in separate building round the corner so we walked to breakfast. No wifi, no batteries in remote (not that it mattered much), double bed instead of two singles. The only saving grace was the quaint lift and supermarket across the street. The room was clean but nothing like the...

I am very mortified because if we have known about it during your stay we could have change you the room without thinking twice. We care for our guest therefore we invite everybody to speak in situations like this so we can do our jobs well so that in the end of the day we can all be happy. We'll...

Location is central to all of Rome, walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Roman Forum, Temple of Venus, Circus Maximus, Palantine Hill. So much history to see in Rome. Termini Station is only a couple of minutes away by walking. Get in your exercise, you won't be disappointed. Breakfast at this Hotel was great. Buses are not too far away...

Thank you very much for this wonderful review. We carefully look after our guests needs and we do the best that we can to meet everybody's expectations. Our services are pretty much very basic but we sure give them with a smile in our faces.

Stayed one night with the family last week. Great location close to the railway station and a nice restaurant next door. Helpful and friendly staff. Basic accommodation but clean and tidy and probably good value for money if you just need a room, a few beds and a bit of breakfast in the centre of Rome.

Perfect for what it is. 2 minutes to Termini station, the staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean and comes with a basic breakfast. Be warned, there are no lifts so you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Rooms are equipped with toilet, shower, TV, a safe and, on request, air conditioning. The rating is...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
