We stayed for 3 nights at Giorgina and, for the price we payed, around 120 Euros with breakfast, I have to say this is just a great value for money. Nothing fancy in the rooms, but everything was very clean and beds were confortable. The sheets were changed every morning after we left and going back after a long day...

I was actually quite pleased overall with the choice to stay at Giorgina. It is not a luxurious hotel, but comfortable to the needs of a person who basically goes back to the hotel for a shower and bed. Good price and location, the staff was fairly helpful and polite, free wifi, and a simple breakfast (don't expect too much...

We were pleasently surprised by the size of the rooms, as we were expecting small rooms for this prize and stars, but they are pretty large. The room was clean, but the furniture a bit in the old style. The shower is separated from the toilet(a bit small). Breakfast is mainly sweets, but also had some nice rolls. The location is...

Didn't like this location at all. There was no air so we were provided with two fans with a ridiculous amount of dust on them. The shower wasn't clean and it was stopped up. The maid said that there was sand stuck in the drain to which I promptly asked where is there a beach nearby to have sand in...

Hotel Giorgina is in a fantastic location in Rome, it is close to the Termini train station which also has stations for the A and B metro lines, which is handy to get to all the attractions in Rome if you do not fancy the walk. Ideal walking distance to most of the main attractions within the city, apart from...

My husband and I stayed here for six nights. We loved the location, so close to Termini Station. We felt secure. The lift to our 5th floor room was convenient. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast, especially the barrista so I could have a true cappuccino each morning. And my husband loved the hot chocolate. We grew to...

Not luxurious, simple clean and excellent location. Some street noise, but this is the middle of a big city. This is a good choice if you don't know Rome and want a place easy to get to from airport and main train station. Reception staff speak basic English if you are worried about not being able to speak Italian.

Hotel Giorgina was better than I expected and I really liked it! This hotel is organized very interesting: it’s situated on one of the floor of traditional roman building, on the other floors there are another hotels. Downstairs every hotel has its own reception, but the lift and stairs are common. Most of all I liked 24-hour reception, what is...

We've spent 3 days and 2 nights in Rome last week and Giorgina was our headquater. It was right on the best place, 2 corners from the Termini. The room on the fifth floor was quite ok for short rests to recharge the batteries and sleeping. If its your first time in Rome its definetly one of the best choices,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
