Close to everything. Late Check-In was possible. Really friendly and kind staff. Room was nice and good for few nights. Only minus is that we didn't know that we have to pay extra for the late Check-In. Really good an peaceful place to sleep.

My stay here was not very good. The rooms are tiny and the beds practicly on top of each other. The ensuite bathrooms are very loud so you get woken up anytime one of your roommates used a bathroom in the middle of the night. The walls are also pretty thin so you can hear everything that happens in the...

Stayed here for 4 nights in the single room. Can't complain at all. Comfy, clean bed. Bathroom clean. Located 5 mins walk from the train station, in amongst little supermarkets and nice restaurants. Every attraction well within walking distance. Would recommend to the sightseer who's just looking for a place to rest his/her head

Overall it's a good place if you're looking to put your head down for the night. It's easy to find and is close to termini. The rooms and bathrooms were always clean and the staff were helpful. It's not the best place if you're looking for other backpackers but overall it's good value for money.

Cressy is located very close to Termini, making it a great spot to start your adventures in Rome. The rooms were clean, maintained daily, and are more like hotel rooms than a hostel dormitory. The beds were fairly comfy, and Cressy is high enough above the street that the noise is very tolerable. The bathrooms are shared, but were kept...

The hostel was very easy to find and well located. The staff was very friendly. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, wifi and elevator working pretty well, heating could be better, the shower sometimes seemed to lose water pressure and you'd think you're running out of water, kitchen only had a fridge and we could use at...

Found a private room here for €30 which was perfect for a first night to organise my things and get my bearings. Short walk from train station, the basic room was clean and tidy, shared toilet was in the corridor. The only thing I can say (which I mentioned to the hotelier) is that the description of the location on...

This is a very basic "hotel". Its more of a hostel. limited space and shared washrooms. But at the price, it serves its purpose very well. the location is great, very close to the main train station (Roma termini). We even walked to the coliseum from here (approx. 45min). there are sites to see in between (like the ministry of...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
