We have just come back from a 2 night stay at the hotel and to be fair I cannot fault it. It is a small friendly hotel, offering clean and comfortable rooms and well located for seeing all the sights. Breakfast included a range of pastries, cakes, bread, cereals, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, yogurts, fruit and friendly waitress served...

Prefect location and only a 5min walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The room was comfortable, good value for money, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Our room faced street view and was prefect for want we wanted.

Stayed four nights at the Solis mid March 2017. Quite basic, more of a guest house than a hotel. Having said that, the place was clean, and the staff friendly. I would recommend the Solis to anyone looking for a no frills comfortable budget stay. PS Don't expect a full English...!!!

We stayed here for my fathers 70th birthday. We booked a family room for my husband, two children (6 and 9years) and myself, the room was spacious and clean. My parents booked a double room that had a balcony, although it was also lovely it wasn't as spacious as our room. The breakfast was a nice continental selection.....and the lovely...

Great location, excellent staff. 'Johnny' was the best.. so helpful and attentive. Corner room was very spacious, nicely decorated with great shower. Hard mattress, but very typical for Italy. Very close to Coliseum and Palantine Hill, only 10-15 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. Great restaurants in the small alleyway/street right behind hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

We've just returned from a 4 night stay in Rome and the Hotel Solis. From the moment we arrived the owner / manager Gianni was very receptive and very knowledgable showing us on the map all the major sights. Our room was at the top and a good size, free safe usage, TV and bathroom. I'm a large lad and...

Small hotel located just a few meters from the Colosseo and the Fori Imperiali. My room was relatively spacious, clean and comfortable; the temperature in the room was a bit too high for me, but I tend to like lower-than-average temperatures. Buffet breakfast more than adequate, and very good service. The only fault I noticed: there was a safe in...
