The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many sights. It is very cheap compared to Rome hotel price. Here is why: It looks like its getting renovated...(unfortunatelly we were not placed in one of the renovated rooms ) Everywhere the walls are dirty, the paint is falling off, the room was clean, but very dark, with light...

So I'll set the scene...moved here from a 4 star hotel due to power issues, apparently! In a bad mood but thought every cloud! Firstly the hotel is clearly trying to improve its weaknesses so in a few months time this review could be expendable. We arrived and we're greeted with no issues, and taken to our room via the...

Recently returned from Rome for my wife birthday. I chose Flavia due to it's location and the surprisingly low cost. The man on reception when we arrived - approx 6pm - was very friendly and helpful. He pointed put places of interest on the map and put a line through the best route to get to these places. The room...

The entrance and dining area are both lovely and you feel as though you have booked a higher end hotel however once you get upstairs you can see why this is a relatively cheap hotel! It seems they are having a refurb which is definitely needed. The rooms are very basic (no tea/coffee facilities which is a tragedy for a...

Great location, can reach many famous objects walking, which is amazing. Friendly staff, clean rooms! Thank you so much for bringing that coffee in room, how can you get enough of it when you're in Rome! :)

Booked in for two nights. The gentleman on the desk in the evenings was very helpful and offered good advice. Room was basic - no tea making facilities but clean. We had to go through a very cold corridor and one flight of stairs to our room. There was a lift but it looked ancient. Breakfast was buffet style and...

The place is terrible! Walls are dirty, paint is falling off, furniture is old and worn out. Breakfast is not worth it neither... It's rambling corridors are scary and very confusing when you're trying to locate a colleague that stays in a different room. **Wifi didn't get to my room, unless I was literally by the door. Not good for...

We spent a fantastic 5 days at the hotel. The location is perfect, few minutes walk from Termini. The room service everyday, rooms were clean and staff was nice. The ideal place for couples. The place is located in the area full of good restaurants. Worth recommend !

The location of the hotel is great - close to a lot of city's tourist destinations. The room is small, but has everything needed. Igor at the reception is fantastic - he is the one making difference. Few nice restaurants on the street, grocery shop is also nearby. Overall nothing special, worth staying due to location and staff.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
