Despite some issue we faced with heating system and hot water, we really appreciated staff efforts (special thanks to Paolo) to give us the comfort we need. The position is great, so close to Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi and Piazza Barberini. Breakfast was fine, room clean and comfortable.

Very pleasant and helpful staff at this Boutique Hotel. It was in a very convenient location. 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 5 min walk to Spanish Steps, and on the corner you have banks, a sephora, and just one block down 3 amazing restaurants. The hotel has a super cute rooftop terrance with scenic views of the city. They...

Typical small Rome hotel with small rooms. But I'm not in Rome to stay in my hotel all the time. The air conditioner worked so I was comfortable. Breakfast was good on a little rooftop patio. They also offer help yourslef wine in the afternoon on the rooftop patio as well! Location is great! Close to Barberini metro station. Within...

Late arrival. Last two rooms of the night but the smell of the ancient sewing system was room-filling and made us get away as soon as possible. Unacceptable. Unfortunately the costs were fully charged although the personnel was sincerely sorry. No coulance whatsoever. Not recommended.

After a long flight from NYC, train into Rome and 20 minute walk to the hotel, we arrived and they said, "There's a problem with your room". That was the last thing we wanted to hear. Apparently there was no electric and they did not know when it would be fixed. They moved us to another hotel that had rooms...

Family ambience restaurant with warm and friendly staff. Noticed that almost all of the other customers were families with kids. Great pizza and pasta. Affordable too. Recommend trying the homemade egg noodle pasta with tomato and meat sauce / simple and delicious! Overall, pleasantly surprised and highly recommend!

The hotel have a great location. Some rooms are very small but that was not a problem for us, becuase we did not come to Rome to stay in the hotel. An advantage was also a terrace at the top of the hotel where you can eat a breakfast. We were also given a basket of fruits and sparking wine...

Rooms compact, but ample storage and fine for two people. Very clean linen and free mini bar. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful, especially the young man on reception(Roschanne). Very attractive little roof terrace which was surrounded by pots stuffed with flowers. La Fenice was also very central and we walked to all of the landmarks from here. The breakfast...

Very welcoming hotel, especially Assif who was really lovely. The hotel itself needs redecoration as its rather tired, but is very clean with fresh towels everyday. The breakfast was excellent, with all you could wish for in a hearty breakfast. We stayed on the 4th floor and it was very quiet although the room did smell of smoke which was...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
