I am pretty sure many years ago this should have been a great design hotel... These days it just looks old and in desperate need of repair and renovation... Really a shame as this is the only Radisson brand hotel in Rome and the staff is very friendly, polite and helpful. First time I stayed here one year ago I...

Ok, maybe that is a bit cruel. The seventh floor is pretty good. The bar area the terrace and the pool area all match up with the photos. Very lovely. However dont be fooled - it is a stiff 40 minute walk to the city centre, the staff are rather off hand and also closed the pool area to us...

We had a great stay at the Radisson Blu. First impressions of reception was "wow" , followed by easy & swift check in. Went to our room and did another "wow" - great layout. Good lighting, excellent use of space. My only advice is to not put your towel on the side/ end of the bath when you're in the...

Ok a lot to inform you. Firstly the hotel Radisson Blue, I firstly award the staff 5 star in attention to detail and customer care. If I was choosing again i would book a hotel in and around Trevi fountain area, nicer surrounding, closer to main tourist sites, better quality restaurants how ever much busier with footfall and the bloody...

We stayed at the Radison Blu in Rome for four nights. Before we arrived the customer relations staff responded promptly to a special request for our arrival. The room was modern, clean with a nice big bed. The staff in the bar could not do enough to make our evenings enjoyable, they were polite and attentive while not being too...

I dont know when this hotel was built, but when entering the room I got a strange feeling of traveling 30 years back. Everything was black/white and cold, and very unpractical. Maybe a good idea at the time, but today it just was weird. On top of it, the room was small with hardly any place to put away your...

Conveniently next to the Roma Termini and a short walk from most of central Rome's attractions such as the Colosseum and Forum. The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other similarly classed hotels in the city. The breakfast is good..

Back in Rome once again and back here again. The reception staff polite and helpful as always and the room slightly different this time didn't get the weird shower in the mile of room this time for a proper bathroom separate. Even have the rooftop bar a run out which was good. It's location is handy and generally it's quiet...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
