You pay what you get; located at the 1st floor, there is another hotel reception at the lobby, it is an average hotel with lift (imagine your big luggages without one!), flat screen TV , basic breakfast is provided and a free Wifi. The location is not far from Roma Termini and if you hate walking, you can take bus...

The only positive was the room. Nice given the price. But the service was terrific. No room service the first day (we came back after lunch to rest and only at 5 the cleaner came for the room). We said to come back later but she was leaving. But even more ridiculus was the check out. We went for check...

Stayed here for a long weekend, its the biggest Hotel Room i have ever stayed in. Absolutely no complaints, although if you expect breakfast. Its coffee and croissants. The Staff very friendly and are so helpful. I would say its a budget Hotel but the way i see it is that Rome is Amazing and you will only be in...

I was in this hotel in September with my friends. We went to Roma for vacations. Frankly speaking, we really enjoyed our stay there. Yes, the rooms are not very big, but they are enough comfortable for 3 persons, and the staff in hotel was really very friendly! We also liked the location of the hotel, it is not far from...

We wanted to find a cost effective solution to being in Italy with our family of 4- we stayed at the hotel monaco in rome for 5 nights and it was comfortable, clean and spacious ( for Europe). The staff was friendly too!

The room and bathroom were extremely small and uncomfortable. Out of our small frosted window we had a view to a tiny dark inner yard. Breakfast was terribly poor. Additionally, we met insects (cockroachs) in the bathroom!

Of the 5 hotels we stayed at on our Europe trip this one was by far the worst. The room was quite small, especially for 4 people (two adults and 2 teenagers). The room had a musty smell that was quite disturbing. The bathroom was very small with an accordian style 'door'. They claim to have air-conditioning, and they did...

Worst hotel in all my travels. Made the mistake of booking Rome last minute. Always book Rome hotels before you start your vacation, or else you'll have difficulty finding room, and you will pay through the nose. I am not a picky traveler, but this hotel was awful. They showed me a room with the toilet in the shower, and...

I have to agree with most of the reviews on this hotel because they are all correct. First of all i must say i didn't see the room so i wil not comment on the standard of the actual room. What i will say is that after travelling half way around the world with my wife and 2 small children,...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
