I was not expecting much from the property, but was pleasantly surprised. The room was very elegant and well furnished. There was free water, croissants, juice coffee. Nice collection of movies and city guides. Location is close to Termini and very convenient. Several Halal restaurants in the vicinity. Great Value for money.

Me and my partner have just got back from Rome and we stayed at 69 manin street, and we was very satisfied with the stay! We didn't pay a lot to stay here which I was kind of apprehensive about, but when we got to the hotel we couldn't complain, don't get me wrong it is very basic, but you...

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, my friend had previously stayed here before, so knew what to expect in terms of decor, which is drab and dated, but in a fine location and fine for what we needed. The fact the rooms and bathrooms were just very basic was fine, the issue we had was...

Stayed four nights at this hotel and was very satisfied with my stay. The room was smart and tidy and the air conditioning worked well. The B&B owner and employee were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. This B&B is very near the Rome Termini and is brimming with restaurants and shopping options in the neighbourhood. A 15 minute...

Upon booking this B&B, me and my partner were not sure what to expect; we hadn't paid much and we went through a few sites to find this place. As we came into Rome, we thought the area was a little rough, however it is close to the train station and so it easy enough to find. We found the...

Our room was very clean/comfortable/quiet and serviced daily. Within a short walk to the main Terminal train station and hop on hop off tourist bus companies. Airport bus departs and arrives outside train station regularly for a very reasonably priced transfer (4 euro per person). Takes an hour to get to the airport. The host and his reception staff were very...

The rooms were very clean and spacious, including the washroom. The girl who worked at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She was friendly, hard working and helped us with tour booking. Free hotel wifi, but connection isn't very good in some of the rooms. It works perfectly fine in the lobby or the rooms closest to the...

The room and en suite shower was very clean and well decorated. It had no view and also right next to reception but luckily not unduly noisy. The air conditioning unit appeared to be disabled. This was not too much of a problem as it was not overly hot in the room but could have been a problem in the...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
