Had such an amazing time in Rome and cannot recommend this hotel enough, although I nearly forgot to write a review, but better late than never. My Wife and I and our teenage kids 14 and 16 visited Rome back in August this year and this hotel played a big part of our time and because of the friendly staff and...

this hotel is our go-to choice when in Rome. We noticed some nice renovations. quality and service are WAY superior to a 3 star. overall great value. we love the fact that it is inside a historical building, very charming ... and definitely better than a commercial/anonymous hotel chain.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms was big, location is great (300-400 meters from metro station, walkable distance to many places). Breakfast was good. Staff was best. They even served partial breakfast at midnight (for next day morning) on request as we had to checkout very early in morning. Only issue, the bathroom shower cabinet is small. Rest...

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Rome Termini as we were passing through Rome for only 2 nights. it proved to be a good choice although it was slightly further from the station than we realised given we were dragging our bags. Location on the Via Nazionale was perfect as it gave us another transport alternative in...

Small family run hotel with friendly staff in an excellent location for seeing the sights of Rome. The hotel is quaint and characterful, what we expected of a traditional Italian hotel, and we loved it. Enjoyed the chats with the reception staff on all sorts of topics. Recommended, and would definitely stay here again.

This place was great - only wished we had booked more than one night! There were 4 in our family so were given an apartment which was beautiful, well equipped with super air-con which was needed! Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely. There were stairs to climb but we have found that in a lot of hotels in...

Stayed 3 nights here in Rome. 5 min walk from train station, on main street to lots of sights. Nice reception and welcoming people. Good breakfast. Very small shower (couldn't turn around or bed to shave!). Overall a good value for money.

We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed here for 2 nights in July. We had booked a quadrouple room, and were given an apartment with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and sitting room. It was beautifully decorated, spacious and more than met our needs. The hotel itself is located in a building very close to Termini train station. Most places are within...

We were 4 in a large room. The room was clean and the stuff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is far fro the msin attractions so you need to walk a lot or to take a taxi. Breakfast is minimal but there is a supermarket near by. The price in the hotel website was cheaper than in trivago.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. This time we were 2 families with 3 children. They were able to accommodate us very comfortably in a triple room and a quad room. The staff are extremely helpful and we like the fact that the hotel is near the main railway station for easy access but yet...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
