Nice hotel but far from city center. Neighborhood was ok felt safe to walk around even at night . Lots of stores and restaurants just a few blocks away but on very busy streets so watch for cars . Metra station about three blocks away...More

it's a ticket machine and you buy tickets for aloted time eg 100 mins..the Vatican is about 10-12 mins..you can chop and change during that 100 mins as much as you need to..we used the metro going out for meals in the city .. and people are friendly/ approachable..
