Booked through Hotwire, which i assumed was only hotels but this place is more of a guesthouse if anything. Anyways apart from that the location is 5 star. right beside the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. The hotel itself is basic but very clean, it has all you need if its just a place to rest your head in the...

Lovely stay at this hotel. Such an amazing location, close to everything and you didnt need to get public transport and could walk to all the main sights. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. We had breakfast one day which was 6 euro per person and very nice and a good start to the day! Our room was...

Rented through Hotwire. Suppose to be a 4 star hotel. Its a bed and breakfast with no front desk past 8 pm and a poor breakfast. Hard mattress and we could hear everything going on in the rooms beside us, and I mean everything. Not even a telephone in the room. This is not the Kings Relais fault but Hotwire's...

We enjoyed 4 nights at this hotel, probably better to call it a B and B or inn. Reception on ground floor and a variety of other accomodations share the building. Our rooms (two interconnecting) where located on the 3rd floor with a few other rooms. Room was a good size, lovely bathroom and a nice view. Room very clean...

The hotel has a perfect location close to everything, even underground station. We stayed in a room with 4 beds. Positive: -location -nice firm beds -very clean -continental breakfast with choice of eggs, fruit, cereal, toast, pastries, cheese and cold cuts -slippers +toiletries Negative: -room was too small for 4 people -noise (don't forget your earplugs) -some bits were missing...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
