I stayed for two days with my boyfriend, it does not seem like the photos, the room needs a painting, the bathroom has water everywhere after bathing. They were doing some repair in the corridor and made a lot of noise in the morning. The full breackfast as the owner tag at book.com does not exist, only cookies and 1...

After reading reviews about the Penelope on Booking.com I decided to book this trip as a surprise for my partners Birthday, the good reviews and amazing photos on the website made this place seem perfect and great value. I WAS WRONG. The location is good, a mere 15/20 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Francesca...

The rooms look lovely on the photos, but they overbooked and tried to put us in another building, which was dirty, old, no lift, and the smell of cigarettes, So if your staying make sure that you stay in the main residence,

I am just back from Bed & Breakfast Penelope Holiday after a 5 night stay and I can only give this based obviously on my own experience but before it was booked, one of the main reasons in booking it was down to the reviews here on Trip Advisor. First of all upon arrival one must pay local taxes at...

Penelope Holiday is a little B&B situated in a nice and not so noisy area of Rome, 10 min walking from Termini Station. The area is full of restaurants with affordable prices, and the rooms themselves are cheap compared to the average and considering their quality. We booked a double room with private bathroom, which was nicely furnished and really...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
