A lovely place to stay in Rome with very friendly, helpful owners. Gianluca marked out several walks on a map for us which proved very useful, and recommended restaurants near by. It was great eating with local people rather than other tourists. It is about 5 minutes walk to the meeting place for a Vatican tour, which makes a big...

We arrived in the street and were greeted immediately by our host, very nice. He helped us get our luggage into the building and showed us the rooms and how to get in with about 5 different keys LOL. The rooms were really nice and spacious, which I don't usually see in Italy. Each had it's own bathroom facilities and...

Warm and friendly, both Gianluca and Agostino were super helpful and gave great directiions and tips. The Casa Martini is clean, modern, spacious, the breakfast plentiful and of top quality, and the location close to transportation to all parts of town (3 minutes to metro station, just across from bus stations).

The proprietor, Agostino went out of his way to make sure that our time as Casa Martini was a memorable experience. He and his staff took very good care of us. So much so that he helped us get a driver that picked us up at the airport and we knew what the fare would be before we landed. Our...

Where to start? We stayed here initially because of the reviews. The price was very decent too! On arrival (taxi was arranged by them to pick us up from the airport for 50 euro) Gianluca sat us down and showed us a map of Rome. Explained what sites to see, what routes to walk and what restaurants were good. And...

We received a recommendation to stay at Casa Martini from a friend while we were in Rome, looked at the almost universally high reviews and decided to book. We were met by Agostino, one of the owners, who is one of the nicest people I have met in all my travels. The room itself was fine, particularly by European standards....

This was a great, clean little B and B that we stayed in with two other couples. Each morning a nice light breakfast was served with fresh bread, fruit and lunch meat, as well as yogurt and pastries. There is an awesome bakery next door with cheap, wonderful sweets open 24 hours. Agostino made sure all our needs were taken...

Our party of six stayed in the three double rooms in Casa Martini which is the newest section of the Quodlibet B&B. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
