What an amazing place to stay. Staff really friendly and helpful. Beautiful, clean modern room with spa bath. Bathroom was beautifully finished. Easy walk to The Vatican and other visitor attractions. Would recommend to anyone wanting a lovely romantic time in Rome. Would come and stay again anytime. Thank you for looking after us so well. Loved the towel swans...

Beautrice was fabulous at check in and she covered absolutely everything we could possibly imagine, from restaurants, sights to booking our shuttle to the airport, she loves her job as she is so passionate about it. Rooms are quirky and comfortable, we had a loft style room, which was very nice, only thing is walking down the narrow staircase balancing...

Not a hotel but a hi-end B&B. Name very misleading since you really can't see the river from most (all?) rooms. I wish I could give this a "very good" rating since the manageress, Beatrice, is fabulous and very guest-oriented. However, the issues for me preventing "very good" include: - Great design but with lack of function in mind, e.g.,...

Well what can I say Hotel centrally located for everything Vatican 25 minutes walk in one direction, the Coleseum 25 minutes in the other with the Trevi Fountain spanish steps plus loads of Plaza's and churches in between. Staff were fantastic especially Beatrice who went out of her way to do what ever we needed and loads of informationon places...

The staff really go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. We spent several days here in one of the rooms that had a loft/mezzanine. If I stayed again I would not choose this room. To reach the loft to make coffee, tea or to put anything in the fridge you have to navigate treacherous stairs. The tread,...

Very cozy and beautiful, our room was very huge with jacuzzi in the room ( was super romantic) location of the hotel is very good just across the bridge and you already in the centre of everything and Vatican is just 10-15 min walk, only one thing is that they don't have any parking so you need to find off...

When we booked our room at Luxury on the River, we thought it was too good to be true. Everyone has heard horror stories about getting to their hotel and it being nothing like the booking. Well the hotel is exactly what they advertise. By far the best hotel we've stayed at on our European vacation. Would recommend to anyone...

We found the place pretty easily, though the first visit may be a little challenging. Think of this as a hybrid of an airBNB and a boutique hotel, as its a little of both. Rooms were very nice and always clean and supplied. Pretty close to the sights and shopping. Just walk a few blocks to get to the main...

This accomodation is unusually arranged and I'm sure the experience is very much dependent on the particular room allocated. This is not an independent property but is located within a general accomodation block. On the first floor there is the main reception and some accomodation but we had a room on the second floor. The room was quite small but...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

  • Spacious shower. Loads of space for storage under the sink.
  • Toilet and bidet are on the right as you go in the bathroom-the door on the right doesn't open.
  • Door from the room into the bathroom. And one of the closets/beside tables. One on each side.
  • Comfy bed!
